“Great hotel but not great location when visiting as a tourist”

I highly recommend this hotel only if you don't mind having to take a 30 min. subway ride in order to get to the Latin quarter. The hotel is quiet, clean and two blocks away from the subway stop. The room was extremely small, but this is how it goes in Paris I guess.

“Friendly and Polite”

This is an Expedia winner. A very reasonably priced hotel with an adequately sized, clean room (it is Paris), cordial staff, quiet location very close to the Metro (line 6, Boissière). I took the Air France Bus to Charles de Gaulle Étoile and would have walked to the hotel had there not been a light rain. The Metro station is but a few steps from the bus stop, so I hopped on Line 6 for 2 stops and very short walk to the hotel. It's not in the Latin Quarter or even on the left bank, but that is as much a plus as it is a minus for me. I'll look at this place first for my next trip.

“Great hotel at a great price”

We liked this hotel so much we booked another night at the end of our trip. It is in a great location, it was clean, the staff was very helpful and nice and the hotel provided everything we needed.

“Great Location”

This hotel has a very friendly staff and is in a great location. The staff spoke English without making me feel uncomfortable to the fact that I could not speak French. They were quick to respond to our needs. My wife made a request for an extra blanket one night and it was not available that night. However, the next day they had one waiting on her when we came in from site seeing. Them remembering something like that shows they care about their customers. This hotel is close enough to the Metro and the Eiffel Tower to make getting around easy. If you are looking to save a little money on food there is a sushi place just across the street from the hotel. Also, there is a convenience store about two buildings down from the hotel. If you drive to the hotel there is a parking garage close by. However, I do not recommend driving. The Metro is an absolute breeze and a car is a waste of money. I will definately stay here again if I go to Paris in the future.

“very nice”

The Bathroom was somewhat bizarre, of course I'm from the US. The service was fantastic. the tv was big but mostly in funny languages,unless I wanted to watch "the bad news". However the simpsons in french was amusing. We were close to all the attractions, a goodly walk there and a cab ride back. Lots of cafes close by, we didn't eat a meal inside! Definitely a good value CF

“central to tourist spots”

visited Etoile floride for two nights in oct. and was very pleased with the hotel, Very well placed about 15 mins walk from the Eiffel tower and the arc de T. Lots of cafes and restuarants close by and a metro stop only a couple of mins away whose name i've forgotten ,sorry. Situated just off avenue Kleber. room fairly small but i think they all are at this level in Paris. Would stay again

“Nice Hotel with nice people”

This hotel had a very friendly staff that spoken English, French, and Spanish. They were great and the neighborhood was charming. The rooms have no big frills but that is what rooms are like in Europe. The windows open to a view of a very charming building and street. The street gets noisy at night. There are loud conversations, singing and Vespas reving up. The other guests on our floor got noisy as well. I did however inform the front desk and they handled it right away. I packed ear plugs also so there was no worries. The air conditioning in the room was great. I would recommend this hotel because it is friendly, clean, safe, and in a great location. It is a bout a 5-10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There is a grocery store a right near the hotel on the same street that is a life saver! They have great prices and you can get drinks, sandwiches, bread and great great store brand chocolate! They speak a couple languages there too. A few words of caution..there is no shower curtains because that is normal there, hand held shower only. There is also no iron to iron your wrinkly packed clothes. That was a stinker. There was however extra pillows, blankets and an in room safe.

“Great Staff and location”

The airline lost our luggage so Michael the desk clerk made all of the calls everyday to talk with the airlines and also helped us to find a place close to buy some new clothes. They really helped alleviate the stress. The location is a very short walk from the Eiffel tower. It is a very quiet neighborhood at night but you better eat early as the larger restaurants close up as this is mainly a business district and does not have a lot of night life close by.
