“Outstanding receptionists”
My husband and I stayed at St. Ferdinand for two nights while sightseeing Paris briefly for two days. We had a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived until the very end. The location was very convenient - steps away from a Metro and Train stations, walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées or to the hop on and off sightseeing buses. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast buffet was adequate with several choices of fresh and tasty food.. They also gave us lunch sacks to take with us before leaving the hotel in the mornings. But most importantly, we were impressed with the quality of service at the reception desk. In particular, with Mademoiselle Sylwia who went an extra mile to assist us with whatever we needed. She arranged for us to have our room ready for an earlier check-in, she kept our luggage on the last day, she made many useful suggestions to us (from transportation to sights). She was extremely nice and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. We can't wait to go back!
“Great Hotel”
Room was slightly small, but was extremely comfortable. breakfast buffet was amazing, could not have asked for anything better to be included in it. Everything was fresh and delicious. The shower only had half of a door- I guess that may be the custom over there, however the lack of door caused water to go all over the bathroom floor while the shower was on.
“Very good choise in Paris”
Hotel has a great location, room is confortable, although it is a little small. Breakfast is very good in terms of French pattern, but space is small for so many guests. Elevator is a problem: only one for the whole hotel. Staff is very friendly.
“Great value if you don't mind the short walk to the Metro.”
Pleasantly surprised with the quality and location of this hotel. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Argentine Metro station, giving you access to anywhere you need to go in Paris and surrounding areas. Save your money and stay in a hotel away from the core attractions, just as long as you are on the Metro line, you can go anywhere very quickly. Breakfast was quite good with decent selection of croissants, bread, juices, cereals and yogurt, etc. The standard room was clean and comfortable, updated decor, and had a very nice bathroom, but expect the size to be much less than a North American hotel room. It was nice to have an in-room safe as well. Service staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
“Wonderful Paris Hotel”
The staff at this hotel are INCREDIBLE. They were there for everything we needed. If we have the opportunity to go back to Paris we will definitely stay there. It is convenient to everything - good subway stops.
“Convenient Paris Hotel”
The hotel is a couple hundred meters from the Le Meridian hotel, which is a large, full service hotel. The BW St. Ferdinand is small and cozy, and reasonably price, by Paris standards. The manager was very helpful, courteous and pleasant. He spoke excellent English and gave "on the money" directions. Ice is a short commodity, for some reason. A G20 convenience grocery across the street didn't even have ice, which was the only significant disappointment of the hotel.
“Couldn't have been more satisfied”
our hotel stay was FANTASTIC!!! the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. the breakfast was wonderful and a great beginning to our day, and the complimentary sack lunch was unexpected and very nice. would love to go again...
“Great location !!!”
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is one of the best. 10 minutes walk from the Champ Elisees, 45 minutes walk from the Gallery Lafayette and Montmartre. The hotel is surrounded by nice shops, restaurants, and a park at walking distance. The staff is outstanding, and always willing to help. Roland one of the staff helped me send an E- mail home.( How great ). The breakfast was great with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, croissants, cereale, yogurts, and do not forget the fresh french bread. Plenty of great tasting food. What a suprise to received a pack lunch bag daily, which we really apreciated since we walked every day to different sites. I also wanted to take back home the shower with me. What awsome water pressure !!! We are impressed, and we will recomend this hotel to our friends, and be back the next time we visit Paris.
“Great location for Porte Maillot”
Nice little hotel with friendly service, comfortable rooms and nice perks, a block from the metro, several good restaurants a few meters way. A real find!
“will go back definitely”
