“Would come back in a heartbeat ...”

This hotel has an unbeatable location for travel through Montparnasse Train Station--it's dead ahead out the front door of the station about 3 minutes walk. The price is not the cheapest but still reasonable. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable; a nice blend of old style charm and newer furniture and fixtures--very practical layout Noise levels were very reasonable given the high traffic location.

“Would Go Back”

We stayed at the Edouard VI for our 1 year wedding anniversary. All of the hotel staff provided excellent service and were very helpful! We stayed 4 nights, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had recently been updated. Location in the Latin Quarter is great and a metro stop is a few steps from the front entrance. We stayed in a room on the street side on the 3rd floor. I am a light sleeper and the noise did not bother us but ask for an interior room if you need something quiet.

“Great hotel”

Perfect location for getting around the city or the outlying countryside by Metro or RER. Lots of shopping, restaurants, cafes right next to the hotel. But the defining "plus" of this hotel is the staff. Helpful in any and every way. Nicest and most attentive staff of any hotel in Paris, and I've been a guest at lots of them.

“nice location”

Very good location next to Montparnasse Bienvenue metro exit. Staff was friendly & gave me top floor, which afforded me a view of the intersection. No cable television, but why would you need it? Room was a little small for two travelers, but I was alone, so it suited me well. Good value for the price compared to other places. Just need a clean, comfortable place to rest after walking around the City anyway.

“Good location, small but clean and quiet room”

The location of this hotel is ideal if you are traveling out of or into Gare Montparnasse. It's on a busy square, so you feel like you're in the hustle and bustle of Paris, but the room is surprisingly quiet - must be very good windows! The bathroom was recently redone, nicely, but the room was not much larger than the comfortable queen size bed, so it might not be great for extended stays. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, it's great, if you don't mind the limited room size.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

This tiny, but clean & nicely decorated hotel is just steps from the large Montparnass Train and metro stations. The "L' Open" Tour Bus stop was right out front, and there were so many Bistros, restaurants, cafes, and Creperies nearby, that we were almost overwhelmed by the choices. There is a huge mall across the street, and the Eiffle Tower was only a 30 minute walk away (but the tour bus took us there in 5 minutes). The bathroom was nice and the shower was tub sized! The staff at the desk was helpful explaining how to use the trains and metro too.

“Wonderful place in great location”

This delightful hotel is well located and has a wonderful ambience. The staff were terrific and the neighborhood was very nice. The nearby Metro station makes it very convenient for getting around Paris.

“Edouard VI à Paris pret du metro”

L'hotel Edouard VI est un hotel bien situé dans le quartier de Monparnasse. L'hotel a une entrée de métro à quelques pas qui mène au reste de Paris très facilement et une station des trains de l'autre cotè du rond-point ou l'autobus de air france depose les passager. La tour de Monparnasse est aussi tres pret. Et on peut facilement marcher jusqu'au jardin du Luxembourg dans les 30 minutes. . Ma chambre donnait sur la rue mais les fenetres doubles étaient suffisantes pour limiter le bruit de la rue. En fait je crois avoir ressenti le metro plus que le traffique de rue mais ca ne m'empechait pas de dormir non plus. La chambre n'est pas enorme mais pour une ville comme Paris je crois que c'est dans les normes d'une grande ville en comparant à New York par exemple. Il y a de nombreux petits cafes si on veut une alternative au petit dejeuner de l'hotel. Le personnel de l'hotel etait serviable et bien sympathique pour donner un coup de main pour des suggestions pour une activité de jour comme de nuit. Et je retournerais à cet hotel sans hesitation pour mes prochaines vacances à Paris

“Friendly, very charming.”

We found everything as was represented on the hotel listing. Price was great, location a good walk to Art district and museums. Great shopping in the area. It looks as though it is on a very busy corner, but that didn't affect our comfort at all.
