“Great”
Great hotel. Very clean with a renovated and pretty spacious bathroom (for Paris standards). The air conditioning worked great and is a rare feature to find in Paris. It was an absolute must for the week we were there in July 2010.The room is rather small but nothing surprising for Paris. The location was convenient, close to subway stations for several subway lines, with some nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Despite its location, right on the boulevard, there was absolutely no noise at night from the streets. The walls are a little thin so you might hear noise from the neighboring rooms but that didn't keep us from sleeping. All of this for a very decent price. All in all, a great experience for a great price.
“Great value and super clean”
This hotel was wonderful. The room was small but very clean with comfortable a bed and great pillows. The bathroom was a decent size as well with a nice shower. The staff at the front desk were very polite and spoke English well. The metro station is 2 blocks away and it was very easy to get there from the airport. The line also connects to many others so it was very convenient. The area around the hotel was nice and clean, not noisy like some of the other neighborhoods. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance and there is a "Casino" grocery store 2 blocks from the hotel at the round about that sells wine and snacks. In my opinion this hotel is not a 2 star by Paris standards, should be higher. We stayed there for 5 days and I would stay there again without question. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
“WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”
Lovely hotel! My boyfriend and I stayed here during our two night stay in Paris. We read good reviews about it online, but being a 2* we didnt expect too much. Now having been there we can confidently say this hotel is definitely underrated! Easily a 3*. The room was luxuriously decorated and immaculately clean (I'm incredibly fussy with cleanliness), gorgeous black tiled ensuite bathroom with spotlessly white modern bath sink and powerful shower, crisp white towels on a heated towel rail and hairdryer and cups/toiletries inlcuded and maid service every day. In the bedroom there was a wardrobe, mini bar, telephone, desk and chair, trouser press and juliet balcony. The walls were soft and plush and red cloth-decorated. Flat screen TV on the wall in front of the bed, bedlights on each side, and we were given two keycards for entry. The staff were very helpful and couldnt do enough for you. The reception area has armchairs and many leaflets on paris. The only thing we would say is you can hear next door talking/closing doors. Half the hotel downstairs is currently being renovated (Sept 2011) but what has been renovated downstairs (reception area, eating area) reflects the luxury of the bedroom.. The location is brilliant, the station Nation (5mins walk) connects to many of the metro lines. I have been to Paris many times and it really is one of the nicest areas to stay and with bakeries and shops all on your doorstep. Couldnt ask for more and would highly recommend to anyone!
“Nice hotel - But still in process of refurbishment”
the room was nice, not too much to ask for for this kind of money. However, the restaurant area was still in refurbishment process and there was not toilet available, apart from the one in the room. We had a nice 5th floor room with a really good view over Paris and to the Place de la nation. The tube is only 5 mins walk away. If you come, ask id the air condition is working properly. Our didn't and we needed to sleep with an open window as it did got quite warm in the rooms 9no idea why). overall, nice hotel, would come back...
“Great value for money”
Hotel was small but all are in Paris. Was close to the metro but was fairly out. However everything is close together in Paris so as long as you're prepared to travel is fine. Hotel overall very comfortable and clean and with air conditioning and decent bathroom is a real find! Neighbourhood great as well, some nice cafes and restaurants and a great bakery literally next door.
“Hotel Prince Eugene - April 2102”
Small room but cozy, the hotel is well located near metro and RER, there are many restaurants around.
