Lovely hotel in a very nice part of Paris. 40 minute walk to the river (which may put some people off) and no elevator (which was not a problem to us).

“Excellent little hotel in a very nice area”

Excellent little hotel in a very nice area, see real France, not too many tourists, but still most people speak some English. literally on top of the Catacombs. Coming from the airport on the RER/B, the hotel is right in front of the train station, very convenient. For the more active, there is a rental bike station right in front of the hotel. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are clean and neat, the staff members were all wonderful. Decent Breakfast available for around 5e.

“Excellent service”

The hotel was pleasant comfortable and very close to a metro station so very convenient for getting into central Paris. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. One of the receptionists Christina was particularly helpful and wenr the extra mile to help us when we were stranded because of the ash cloud

“Convenient and clean!”

VERY convenient to train station and Metro. The staff was patient in assisting us with travel plans. The hotel was undergoing renovations and our disruption was kept to an absolute minimum. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

“Hotel du Midi for families”

We stayed one night at the Hotel du Midi in a quadruple room - two adults and an eleven year old and teenager. The room wasn't huge but was clean and decor was fine - not perfect but quite acceptable. Bathroom was clean and pleasant. In spite of being on a busy road, it was quiet in the room thanks to double double glazing! Next morning we were able to have a very nice Continental breakfast in the breakfast room which was very welcome and set us up for the day. As the catacombs were so close, we were able to go down them before the crowds arrived and, by the time we came out, there was a queue outside the entrance, so we were lucky. A perfectly decent hotel for a family wanting clean and functional accommodation close to a metro station.

“Inexpensive and comfortable”

The hotel is a good pick for a budget traveler. The room is comfortable and well maintained. My room faced the street on the first floor, and yet it was very quiet. The staff is efficient and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located next to a RER stop with direct connection to the airports, as well as several subway lines. It is quite a way from the main Paris attractions, and the neighborhood itself is a bit boring -- but the subway is nearby. Yet you definitely get more value for the money compared to more central hotels.

“Comfortable hotel near Denfert-Rochereau RER/Metro”

I travel to the Denfert-Rochereau area of Paris frequently for business and have stayed in a number of small, modest hotels in this part of the city. I would give this one the top grade of all of them and I will certainly make it my first choice for the area in the future. My room was the smallest on the floor, but it was remarkably quiet with the windows closed and comfortable thanks to a nice, almost silent air conditioning system. (I'm a light sleeper and so often have trouble sleeping if there is traffic noise or a loud AC fan.) The hotel is well located next to the Denfert-Rochereau RER/Metro station so very good for access from/to CDG airport. I can't comment on the hotel's breakfast service because I typically met with colleagues at nearby cafes for our morning coffee and meals, and I also didn't interact very much with staff other than for check-in and check-out.

“It was okay”

The hotel although older was updated. The elevator was under construction and we had to walk up to the 6th floor. The room had a view of the metro station and street below. We requested a room closer to the ground the view from the 2nd floor was the back of 2 buildings and it looked dirty. On the upside, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, close to metro station, restaurants, cafe's and bakery. Alll in all it was okay. .
