“Great value, excellent location”

I was very pleased with the location and value of Hotel du Continent. This hotel is very accessible to major attractions like the Louvre, Tuileries, Champs Elysees and the metro stops are not far away. If you are looking for value and being in the center of it all, this is the place to stay. The only downside is the wifi access. I was unable to connect from the lobby or my room, but the hotel did allows us to use their access to print our boarding pass. Thanks again!

“Hôtel Continent, au coeur de Paris”

Pour passer un weekend en plein centre de Paris à tarif abordable (c'est le quartier des hôtels chics), à 2 pas du Louvre et de la Comédie Française, sur la ligne 1 du métro (Gare de Lyon), c'est l'hôtel idéal. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris, mais avec le Marly au Louvre et Angelina sur la rue du Louvre, c'est un avantage :-)

“Small but Convenient”

My sister and I both enjoyed our stay at the Hotel du Continent. Although it is only a 3 star, it is tastefully decorated, updated, very clean and the staff very friendly. Our room was typically Euro small but we had a place for all our things plus the 3 big suitcases we brought. We were between very high scale 5 star hotels, and the street is very quiet and secure. As traveling females, we felt very safe. It's location is fantastic, we had many walks in the Tullieries and could walk to just about everything. This was my 5th time in Paris and my sister's 1st. We were both very happy.

“Just what we wanted”

Our experience at Hotel du Continent was quite brief but also quite satisfactory. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. They spoke English with us and helped us a little with our French, including refreshing my memory about the Metro. The room was clean and comfortable -- not large by U.S. standards, but exactly what we needed for our stay. The location of this hotel is its greatest selling point. It is right in the center of Paris, close to the Tulieries Metro stop and the Louvre. It is the perfect starting point for getting to know this beautiful city.

“Excellent base for exploring Paris”

The location of the hotel is excellent very close to the Louvre Museum and within easy walking distance of other attractions such as Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are small, clean, basic, and practical. An excellent base for sight seeing. We would definitely use this hotel again !

+ good location, clean and professional staff - the access to the last floor is through a stair which is not acceptable for this price - wifi did not work in the room
