“Amazing Hotel in Wonderful Location!”

We stayed at Hotel des Arts for 11 nights in Feb. and were so glad we picked this location! The hotel was beautiful, the rooms spotless, the Montmartre area wonderful, and the entire staff were extremely polite and helpful. It was our first trip to Paris and we chose the hotel based on other reviews. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if we travel to Paris in the future.

“Fab hotel in a Fab location”

This hotel is fab - the area is wonderful and easy to get around to some beautiful places in Paris either walking or public transport. Would highly recommend this hotel. In fact we have decided to stay again on our return to Paris in 2 weeks.

It is very pleasant and clean hotel. The staff is very helpful. Good location, good breakfast. I will go back anytime. Metro is very close, lots of cafes and shops. Moulin Rouge is just around the corner, great show.

“A charming place in a great location”

My husband and I just got back..The Hotel des Arts is adorable! Small & quaint, very hospitable staff. Very clean, w/nice touches like fragrant fresh flowers in the lobby. You can walk out the lobby door, head down a short hill and you're on a great avenue (I think it's called Ave des Abesses) with tons of shops and cafes. The hotel breakfast was decent, don't expect lots but they have a couple dry cereal choices, croissants, toast, fruit salad (canned) and hard-boiled eggs, juice and coffee. The only thing I'd say could be improved is if they added a/c, but it wasn't that hot when we were there so we were fine. The room was small but cute and had a large window overlooking the hilly street. It's a very lively area so it does get a bit noisy if you leave the window open. Metro is just down the street - there are 2 different stations very close. The one further down the hill in Pigalle (just one block down from Ave des Abesses) is a bit easier, especially because the one right on Ave Des Abesses by the carousel has a bizillion steps to get down to the platform. There is an elevator if you don't mind waiting. I walked up the steps one time and they keep going around and around in a spiral that seems like it will never end. What a workout! But the Hotel Des Arts is a great little find for the money, and we will be back hopefully soon!!!

“honeymooners”

We stayed here for our honeymoon recently and found it be a beautiful little hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good english. There was a problem with our room on arrival but this was dealt with efficiently and we were offered an upgrade free of charge. Very convenient for exploring Montmatre and good access to central Paris via nearby metro stations. Breakfast was nice and simple although the room was very small which meant you sometimes had to wait for seats. Will definately stay here again

“Fab location”

Hotel very comfortable, room was compact but everything you need. Only slight complaint would be that the hotel was very hot and was a bit noisy. The location was fantastic within easy reach of many, many bars, cafes and restaurants. The Moulin Rouge and Montmartre are both a 5/10 minute walk away. Is a bit hilly though so would be no good if you have any mobility problems. Would definitely recommend and return (hopefully)!!!

“Hotel Des Arts - Part of "Real" Paris”

Hotel Des Arts has many qualities we could warm to. It was friendly and welcoming, and relaxed. The room was well furnished and fitted out, and (on a freezing night) lovely and warm; the shower/bathroom was well supplied as well. Breakfast (as travellers in France before) was a welcome surprise - buffet style with fresh french bread every morning, and plenty of choice The Hotel sits on a side road just above one of Montmartre's 'village style' roads, with restaurants, bars, cafes, and the full range of traditional french bakers, butchers, fishmongers, bijou stores and art shops, with a small christmas fair thrown in - a typical, you might almost say, nostalgic french winter scene. It's close to two Metro stops, no more than five minutes each way. There's no sense of having tours/guides/venues shoved at you, but if you want to know, they'll help you find it. We spent four pleasant days here, unpressured but cared for, relaxed, and able to follow our chosen itinerary of museums and galleries. If you want a traditional and relaxed three-star Paris Hotel this takes some beating, and. by the way, some of the negative reviews we read were either focused on another hotel (there are others with the same type of name) or from bizarre tourists who expect the earth for nothing! So, yes we'd come here again at the drop a a hat, and would tempt you to meet the hotel's chocolate labrador dog - what a softy!
