“You might pay more somewhere else but you won't get more than Hotel de Suede”
A wonderful 3 star facility in the heart of the St Germain district. For first time visitors to the City of Lights we could not have found a better place to stay.
“Friendly hotel”
The hotel is in a fairly quiet neighbourhood that is quite central. It is close to the Seine. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful!
“Love Paris”
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Hotel De Suede. It is a very nice small hotel and the staff is extremely helpful. The bathrooms have been updated and are so much better than the first time I stayed there in 2001. the neighborhood is very safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Lovely hotel in a great neighbourhood.”
Went to this lovely, friendly hotel for 3 days. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful It's in a great location (just round the corner from the Rodin Museum) and in a walkable distance from the Eiffel Tower and an underground station. Room was basic but great size and bathroom was really nice! Would love to go back!
“Hôtel de Suède a pleasure”
I went for a short 3-night stay, 4-7 January 2011, with a friend with whom I shared a twin-bed room. Everything was comfortable, attractive, warm, calm, and the service was unobtrusive and efficient. The people at Reception were polite, helpful and informative. We both said that we would very happily stay at the Hôtel de Suède again.
“Good location, Good value”
The hotel is close to Blvd. Saint Germain, a great area for shopping and dining. For the price I paid, it was a great value. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I am accusomed to the small size, but some might find them cramped. The internet is useless and expensive. There are 4 metro stations within a 10 minute walk, so you can get on any line you wnat, but none is particularly close.
“Great hotel in a great area!”
We stayed in a great hotel right off of the garden. The staff was very helpful and we had an excellent stay. The room was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. Only weird thing was that the wall was damaged and hadn't been repaired. Simply aesthetic, didn't take away from the room. Lovely time, would definitely go back!
“Very satisfied”
Traveling through Paris with the Rouge Car (one ticket for two days) was the key to know the more importants places in Paris, and later can decide where we liked to go out the bus to walk around
“hotel dans un quartier chic”
hotel tres bien situé, quartier chic et calme sortie de metro pas tres loin chambre pour 4 tres petite en revanche.
“Great Location”
A work colleague stayed at Hotel de Suede several years ago and recommended it to us. We are so glad that we stayed here. Conveniently located near 3 Metro stations (5-10 minute walk), we were able to go wherever we wanted in Paris on public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable with enough closet space for our clothes. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated. The hotel staff, particularly Thomas, was very accommodating. Breakfast was provided for a cost each morning. I'd suggest going just up the road to buy something on your way. The only drawback to our stay (this will sound funny) was the very limited selection of television channels. We read this in one of the earlier reviews and thought it was funny, but it was so true. At the end of a long day of touring museums, it would have been nice to unwind with a bit of TV. There were only 6 channels and only CNN was in English.
