“very French”

The hotel did not seem like a chain hotel (which I do not think it is.) My main problem with this hotel was it appeared breakfast was included with the price of the room... It was not included, and I received a bill at check out.

“Very pleasant hotel in the very nice area!”

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. It was actually more than what we expected considering that it is a 2 star hotel (so we didn't really know what to expect). We stayed in Paris many time before at different locations, but since this stay Montparnasse became our favorite location because it is more peaceful than other areas of Paris. Although Paris is a very beautiful city, it can get a bit overwhelming sometimes! Hotel is very nicely located and steps away from the metro station. We would definitely stay here again!

“Great little cheap hotel in heart of Paris”

I only stayed for one night and did not take the option of breakfast. However I found the staff at reception were very friendly and most helpful. Overall this is a very nice 2* hotel, clean and with all the amenities you would expect for the price paid . Great location, not too noisy and very reasonable price, would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone travelling on a budget or just looking for a very reasonable hotel for a couple nights.

“Bien placé”

Chambre très petite mais correcte et très propre. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner. Station de métro à 100m de l'hôtel.Bon rapport qualité prix.

“Charming but tiny rooms”

The staff and service is really great, but the rooms were disappointingly small. There was barely any room to walk around, and for two people staying in the room, it was quite cramped. This would be a good place to stay by yourself, but not with another person.

“Quaint French boutique hotel”

Hotel De La Paix was pretty much what I expected in a small European hotel. The rooms are small by US standards, but that's pretty much all of Europe. It was quaint. The lift and the computer "room" were the smallest I've ever been in but that just added to the charm. The hotel is very close to a metro station that serves two lines and there are plenty of stores and restaurants just a short walk away so it was very convenient for getting things you need and for getting around the city. A continental breakfast is served every morning in the hotel.

“Paris October 2010”

The hotel is decent. The room was ready ahead of time, but it sure was small. The double bed took up the entire room and you had about 1 foot to walk around the bed on either side. The bathroom was nice, but if you are a larger person, you will not be able to fit into the shower stall. The sliding door literally only had about a 10 inch entry way.

“Quaint hotel in Montparnasse district”

Stayed a couple of nights and it's a quiet neighborhood, away from hustle and bustle. 10minute walk to Montparnasse Tower. Very close to Metro which was convenient.
