“Would stay again!”
Really liked the location and the staff here. Room was cleaned everyday. Close to the metro. Very nice little place!
“Nice little budget hotel”
If you are looking for a budget hotel in Paris, this one is great. My room was at the top of 4 flights of stairs on a narrow spiral staircase which was a very long haul with luggage, but on the other hand it reminded me of "old Paris" and since I wasn't carrying luggage every day it was fine. My room was very clean and neat and had a very nice closet with storage shelves which I found very useful. My room had a great television but I never used it because I was more interested in Paris sites and was never in my room except at night. The hotel is very close to the Metro (exit the Brochant Metro and it's right around the corner on Rue de Moines---there was an eyeglass store on the corner with a big pair of eyeglasses with the eyes looking in the direction of the hotel which I used to find my way LOL)....Most of all, the staff was very helpful and kind. I speak no French and most of the staff had limited English (one staff member was very fluent in English but was not there all the time) but all of the staff went out of their way to help. I appreciated that more than anything being alone in a city where I didn't know the language. All in all, if you're looking for the Ritz, then go to the Ritz,,,,,,but if you're looking for a budget hotel in Paris where no one bothers you and the staff makes every effort to help you, this is a great little hotel. The toilet was on the next floor down--which they did disclose--but I had a great little very clean shower in my room. Will go again!.
“Hôtel de l'Europe: un abri”
Hôtel bon marché sans prétention, dans mon cas sanitaires sur le palier nécessitant une gymnastique pour les atteindre. Entretien OK. Chambre confortable. Bonne situation mais dans une rue sale. Beaucoup de commerces et de restaurants à proximité (bon restaurant camerounais). Accueil bon.
“Small, cheap, functional”
Located almost in sight of the nearest metro stop, this hotel is very conveniently located. There are a decent number of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and all can be easily walked to. Rooms were extremely small, but not uncomfortable. Take note that although it is not specifically indicated when booking a room, there may NOT be an attached bathroom. All rooms have their own showers, however. Rooms face a central courtyard and the frequently changing light can be distracting, but not a major inconvenience. Staff were friendly and helpful. NO wifi in the rooms. A decent stay for the money, but nothing extraordinary.
“Not good”
The hotel is along the road, the motobike passing by with the noise can't make you fall asleep. The room isn't sound proof. You can easy hear the TV sound from the next door.
“not impressed”
The hotel is about as far away from the main attractions as you can get. Staff were neither friendly nor helpful and in this hotel an ensuite room does not include a toilet. I had to go down two flights of stairs for the nearest toilet and if that wasn't bad enough the shower in my room didn't have running water for more than a couple of minutes which resulted in having to wash at the sink. I was thouroughly dissipointed with this hotel and have stayed in far better hostels for a lot cheaper. I'd rstrongly ecommened you don't stay here.
