“Great price for a good hotel”

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is located midway between Gare de Lyon and Bastille in a safe neighbourhood. It's definitely not as touristy as some parts of Paris, which I definitely see as a plus. Some of the rooms may be on the small side for some travellers, but the bathrooms are new.

“Good choice for the price”

Good, basic hotel, very convenient to Gare de Lyon. Elevator only goes to 3rd floor. My room was on the 4th, which I suppose is the case with many buildings in Paris, as the tax code back in the old days provided a tax break if the top floor was classified as an "attic". Once I dragged my luggage up one flight to my room, everything was fine. Top floor room configuration was a little wierd, as the bathroom was on a raised platform, making the window about knee-level when sitting down on the toilet. If you want fresh air while doing your business, you're on display to the whole world. Luckily my room was in the back of the building so the only people who saw me were the people attending the museum next door. Great location, convenient to everything.

“Rapport qualite prix normal”

Si vous pouvez mettre un peu plus cher, vous pourrez trouver mieux. La situation est impeccable (2 minutes de l acces au metro). Le quartier bien. La chambre etait propre mais pas nickel. Le mobilier fait collectivite (souvenir de mon internat). Si vous etes sensible au bruit, perenez des boules quies (machinerie de l ascenseur). Petit dejeuner OK mais pas gargantuesque. Viennoiseries seches.
