“A very pleasant experience”
Lovely place for getting to all the main attractions. Smashing local eating places, good value compared to eating in the centre. We had adjoining rooms which were great. Kids loved it. Rooms were basic but adequate. We will be going again once my arms and legs have grown back again.
“Great Location”
In the 9th Arrondissment main shopping district near Haussman Blvd and stores Galleries La Fayette and Printemps. Within 30 minutes walking to Montmattre and opposite direction Le Louve. Breakfast at hotel for 9 Euros not worth the price. Metro only two blocks away but runs right under hotel and you can feel the vibration on 2nd floor where we stayed. Good hotel if you will be out all day and only using the hotel for sleeping and showering. Beds comfortable plenty of hot water and connecting rooms were nice to have. It is only a 2 star hotel. It was perfect for us, 2 adultes and a 12 and 16 year old.
“Une bonne adresse”
Très bien situé et agréable.
“Peu spacieux mais calme et tres bien situe”
Chambre agreable, confortable et etonnamment calme en plein centre de Paris. Un hotel simple, qui manque un peu de cachet mais tres accommodant de par sa situation.
“hôtel de chateaudun paris”
bon hôtel, mériterait cependant un petit rafraîchissement de la déco pour honorer la 3ème étoile. Le personnel est avenant .
“Good location, good value for money”
The hotel is very well located, especially if you'll be doing some shopping in the amazing "Grand Magazins" in Paris. The Opera Garnier is also nearby and a Metro station at the doorstep is just perfect. I'd do some improvements in the hotels common areas but, if you're a road warrior, you won't even notice the defects. Service is excellent! People at the front-desk are super kind and ready to help you with your Paris experience. A real PLUS for this hotel!
“Quaint Hotel 5 minute walk from Opera House”
The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the Opera House in a nice neighborhood. It is about 2 blocks from a Metro station which allows easy access to Paris. The rooms are small compared to USA standards, but still comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and our stay there.
“Great place for family of five”
This was the first time we'd taken our 3 children abroad (ages 10, 9 and 5). The hotel was great. We had 2 connecting rooms, both of which faced onto the street (with balconies, very popular!). When we arrived an extra bed had been placed in one room (as I had specified in the online booking form) and there were sweets left out for the children. It was such a relief for everything to be set out as I'd asked and not having to sort things out after we'd arrived. The hotel staff were fine - all spoke good english. We didn't eat breakfast in the restaurant but there was a little cafe down the road which did a hot drink (coffee, tea or chocolate), a glass of orange juice and a croissant for 4 euros each. This was great as we could then jump on the metro (Notre Dame de Lorette) just close by. All in all I was very pleased with the hotel's situation and ability to accomodate us.
“Clean but basic”
A vague `boutique' feel to what is a somewhat basic hotel. The room at the back was quiet, but the facilities were not extensive. There was no power point in the room available to charge my phone. As somewhere to sleep it was fine for the price, but better value may be available elsewhere. The location, close to Metro Line 12 and Line 7 is not ideal, as getting anywhere useful involves changing at least once.
“Très moyen”
Je suis assez déçu de l'accueil du matin car les personnes n'étaient pas très aimables ni souriantes. La personne aux petits déjeuners par contre était plein d'attention. La chambre que j'ai eu été assez sombre et avec un lit assez petit pour deux. Une ligne de métro passe en dessou de l'hôtel donc entre 6h et 1h de matin, vous sentez les métros passés. L'hôtel reste mignon, mais ce n'est pas le meilleur que j'ai pu avoir par le service Expédia.
