“Not bad for the price.”
Is relative good palce, near from subway. Small rooms but is great for save some money for a couple of nights, not more.
“Not impressed”
The room was not clean. My wife and I were itching like crazy - some type of parasite or bug was in the bedding. The room was not swept while we were there. Shower had no curtain. Very unpleasant experience.
“not a good hotel”
good: 1) close to gare de nord and gare de east 2) chaeper than surrounding hotels bad: 1) not a freindly staff 2) not a clean room 3) no shower courtains 4) noisey at night 5) bad area of town 6) bad mattress
“An ok place to crash”
The hotel was quite shabby and really needed some new carpets etc. Breakfast was indeed provided, but the food generally ran out long before the breakfast time was over. The coffee was terrible which surprised us very much. Location was terrific in terms of transportation to CDG Airport - that's the best thing about this hotel.
“great breakfst...hard beds”
this hotel was fine for staying a few nights...the beds were hard but we were tired!!! it is very close to the train station and that is what we were looking for (5 minutes walking) there was a desk clerk on during the evening and they were very helpful with directions etc and they spoke enough english to compliment our broken french...no shower but there was a huge bathtub for soaking!!!
“Quick Find From Gare d'lest”
The hotel was less than five minutes from the Gare d'lest train station and metro stop, very convienent. The room was a bit small but this is normal for Paris. The bathroom was very functional and even included a foot bath. The breakfast "buffet" was adequate with tasty french bread, think continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to someone that plans primarily on touring the city and not spending much time in the actual room.
“Good for the price”
Very clean little hotel, the day time clerk was very pleasant, never had anything to eat there..
“conveniently located, but some rooms are just ugly”
I booked my stay there at the very last minute, and got a horrible room. The room had two tiny beds with bedspreads that belong to the 1970's, and it was entirely lit with bare fluorescent tubes. Its one and only window was facing a very narrow pit of light between buildings (you get a lot of these in Paris), but the opposite wall was just 4 feet away from the window. All in one, there was just no natural light pouring into my room. The ceiling had a lot of stains and was very nasty. I briefly saw inside some of the other rooms while the cleaning crew was working the next morning, and they seemed very decent and clean, with large windows facing the street. I guess it was just bad luck for me that one time.
“Clean and basic hotel. Conveniently close to Gard du Nord”
The hotel was clean and basic - had a comfortable stay. The service at breakfast was unimpressive - they ran out of cutlery and plates, but could have just been a bad day. Very convenient if taking the Eurostar. Would recommend it to friends.
“Cheap, close to the station, but that's about it.”
Pros: - Cheap. Really cheap. - Room was very clean and neat - Reception staff extremely polite and helpful - Free WiFi (ask for access at the front desk) - Close to Paris Gare Du Nord and Gare de l'Est - Room had a balcony Cons: - No air conditioning - Really bad sonic isolation from other rooms. You can hear everything from people talking, to showers to doors opening and closing. Very frustrating. - Neighbourhood is a bit noisy, but tolerable. - TV only had 5 (French) channels - Narrow, not overly comfortable beds - Decor badly in need of renewal - Very few electrical outlets - Shower lacks means of hanging up the showerhead, and there is no shower curtain - Hair dryer in the bathroom is useless. Bring your own. - Baggage stored for the day after check-out is just left in the lobby and breakfast area for anyone to take - Breakfast was really weak. We literally had a croissant each and some orange juice.
