Hotel Claridge Paris

“poor sound insulation”

Our room did not have proper sound insulation with rooms next to us. It happened to be our neighbors from both sides where families with kids and they did not go to bed well after midnight. After enjoying our time in Paris it was impossible to rest and relax at night…. You should think twice if you will take this chance before you book it.

Excessivement cher par rapport à la qualité de l'hotel. C'est honteux. Il y a confusion avec le prestige du nom "Claridge". Décors vieillot. Moquette surannée....

“great location, poor service”

in hindsight, i'm really disappointed with the hotel claridge. the location was excellent, the room lovely (top floor, great balcony) however, i found the staff very, very average. we lost power one evening. we were told someone would come up immediately - no one came. four items of clothing were lost by the laundry staff and although we paid for ALL of our laundry and were assured (after leaving the hotel) that our clothing would be sent to our home address it never arrived. i have emailed the hotel querying the whereabouts of our clothing and have received no response. although, nice - there are plenty of other nice hotels in paris so i would not return to the hotel claridge nor would i recommend it. their level of service leaves a lot to be desired. such a shame for a really nice building.
