“Best Hotel we have stayed in Paris”
This truely was the best hotel we have stayed in, in Paris. Everything was wonderful, staff exceptional, extremely courteous, and wonderful with my 85yr old mother in law, who we took to Paris for the first time. The staff were wonderful to her and I had requested ajoining rooms with a shower for my mother in law........ they gave us the Apartment on the 5th floor as it had ajoining rooms and the most fab shower room, she was in her element. Our room was pretty special too! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, we will most certainly be back soon.
“Great experience.”
The Hotel Claridge is just a few steps from the Champs & a metro station. It's a safe neighborhood, and two minute walk from shopping, food and monuments. The staff at the hotel was helpful & courteous and the breakfast was outstanding! I would definitely stay there again.
“Goegeous Hotel, top location.”
will definitely come back to this hotel, elegant and stylishly decorated through out, our room was beautifully furbished,(deluxe room) had a high ceiling with french doors leading onto the balcony.Bathroom was modern and clean, staff was friendly and most helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile. After touring the city I find this location to be the best area to stay, overall very happy.
“A Paris delight!”
My daughter and I arrived in Paris from a wedding in Normandy in the late afternoon, and were greeted by a charming and beautiful young woman who enchantingly checked us in. I speak French, but she also speaks English as do the entire hotel staff. The Bellman was professional and gracious. The engaging concierge recommended a restaurant across the street-Bistro Marboeuf-an amazing meal! Try the steak au poivre. Overall, beautiful hotel, great room, with a fabulous location-walking distance from many key attractions, and many fabulous restaurants nearby. It was a perfect experience. The location is perfect, stores, restaurants, drugstores....everything that you need is right there for you!!! The room was great too, the bathroom was a really good size with bath tube and shower!! The hotel is quiet, so you are able to rest without noises!!! But overall everything was great!!! I definitely recommend this hotel!!!
“Very good”
Very friendly staff, good quality service, very good location
“Fantastic hotel near to Champs Elysees, Paris”
Up front, I will say that the hotel itself is marvellous. It is easily found with but a short 2 min walk to the Champs Elysees. The staff were very welcoming and speak excellent English, advising us on a number of tourist-related questions and made no fuss when I stumbled through my limited French. A smallish hotel, but the rooms were everything we had hoped for; clean, roomy, tastefully furnished and decorated and complete with fridge/minibar, coffee-tea facilities (but no milk). WiFi facilities were available (and used) in the rooms. TV had numerous channels but Englash was sadly limited to news channels - still, who's visiting Paris to watch the latest CSI episode?! We did not take breakfast as this would be quite expensive for four of us, but it was available if required. Although on the corner of two busyish streets, the hotel was generally quite quiet; in fact the first morning we all slept in as the curtains kept out any chinks of light to indicate that the day had come! My only reservation was with the area in which the hotel is located. The area has many up-market fashion stores and lots of not so cheap bistros and restaurants, as befits the street round the corner from the George V. If there'd only been somewhere to buy some baguettes and soft drinks to keep us going through the day! There were the Costas and fast food places on Champs Elysees but even these seemed pricier than other parts of the city. Can't fault the hotel though - highly recommended!
“Fabulous Paris Hotel”
The room was large by Paris standards--well appointed with a beautiful bathroom. The hotel is elegant and quiet, but just a short walk to the lively Champs Elysées.
“geat discovery in Paris”
I found this hotel on the internet, and wasn`t expecting much from it, as its location is perfect, and the price was great for Paris standards. It turned out that the room was very good (we were three in the same room, and even the extra bed was very acceptable), the location couldn’t be better (parallel street from champs Elisees) and the staff couldn`t be more helpful and nice. The only downside is that the Hotel elevator is very small making it hard to put more than two people on it at a time, which can make it hard to move luggage. But it is not a major problem at all, as the staff will happily carry it for you. The wireless internet is also very expensive, I just don`t get it why these hotels insist on charging on such a basic service such as internet. They should just include it on the room rate and get it over with. But overall, I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
“Good value for money”
This hotel was a real find - very central and encouraged us to walk all week!
