“Great Hotel but a bit far out”
The hotel was near the Rome tube line which is a bit way out so you always have to get a connection. If you don't mind the underground then this is just fine. The main Station St Lazare was nearby too and this went directly to Versailles, which was well worth a visit. There are quite a few bars and eating places around once you get your bearings.
“A recommander”
Accueil très chaleureux. Hôtel refait à neuf. Chic et moderne. Très bien.
“Really impressed”
The hotel and staff were outstanding. They couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was great and location ideal. There are three Metro stops within three blocks of the hotel, making it really easy to get to where we wanted to go. Would we stay here again? You bet. This was our second honeymoon, (30th anniversary) and it couldn't have been better.
“Great value, great location. Would definitely stay here again.”
For the price, the hotel was exactly as we had hoped. The room was clean, A/C was great, room size was adequate for 2 people. The location of the hotel is great, it is on a quiet street, very close to the metro, and in a safe area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“An Ideal Hotel for Our First Trip to Paris”
My wife, daughter and I spent a week at Hotel Cervantes in April, our first time in Paris. It was perfect for us. The hotel is in a great location. . .a two minute walk from the Rome Metro station, from which we effortlessly accessed everywhere in the city we wanted to go on the city's superb transit system. The hotel is surrounded by a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood with many nearby restaurants, bistros and bakeries. With lattes, croissants and pastries so close, we never made it to the hotel's breakfast buffet! The hotel has a smallish feel and, as expected, our room was not especially large, esp. with a rollaway bed next to our King bed. But the maid service was very good and the TV and bathroom were modern. We enjoyed the street views from the accessible small balconies. The hotel's best feature may be its excellent front desk staff. We saw four different persons as we came and went over that week, all of whom were youngish, very courteous and helpful, and spoke flawless English. It was a traveler's review very similar to this one which caused us to book our stay with this hotel. Cervantes has received enthusiastic reviews from visitors despite offering a fairly moderate price range. . .I'm glad to report the good reviews were well deserved.
“Great find in Paris”
We got stuck in Paris for one night and found Hotel Cervantes on Expedia. We easily took the train there from the airport and found it to be a very short walk from the Metro stop. The desk clerk guided us to the perfect little neighborhood French restaurant and showed us a walking route to the Sacre Coeur. It was a lovely unexpected night in Paris. The hotel was clean and nice and very reasonably priced.
“A Cut Above”
Nice and clean, safe and convienent small hotel on quiet street. This hotel is an easy 3 minute walk to the metro Rome station. Staff very attentive to any request or need we had and served up a great breakfast!
“J'adore Paris!”
We loved this hotel. Located very close to a metro station. Very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is quite modern compared to others I've stayed at in Europe. People need to also realize that hotel rooms in Europe are smaller then in North American. How much time do you really spend in your room anyway? Our room was spectacular! Very clean and the bed was super comfy. There is free internet access and free wifi which was great! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyway looking to stay in Paris. It's not in the heart of the city but everything is only a short metro ride away.
“A great find - extremely happy and will definately go back!”
Very close to the metro (Rome) - 2 mins walk - lots of shops, bars, restaurants nearby. I stayed in a single room at the front of the hotel - fairly spacious with a small balcony - very clean and reasonably sized bathroom (shower). A plasma screen TV and DVD with tea/coffee making facility and also a mini fridge. A restaurant next door called La Scarpetta is highly recommended for pizzas, pasta dishes and salad - extremely well priced. Great service and food. I will definately stay at Cervantes Hotel again and have no qualms to recommend this hotel to all friends!
