“Would stay at this hotel again”
This Hotel is great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is located near multiple Metro station stops. Metro easy and very safe. It is about 1 and 1/2 miles to Notre Dame by foot. Very safe and very straight shot to walk to and from the hotel. The rooms are very small, but clean. We didn't eat at the Hotel. We did not have a refrigerator in our room. There are many bakeries, coffee shops(Starbucks), and places to eat near by..very convenient. Overall a good place to stay, very simple but works nicely. Never did we feel unsafe.
“small but very nice hotel for the basics”
Clean, very good service, nice room, very good location in Latin Quarters, relatively inexpensive.
“Highly reccommendable, superb location”
This hotel is really worthwhile for the price. Location is superb as the area is a real neighbourhood instead of a tourist are only. Yet the tourist area (The Pantheon, Boulevard St Michel and even Notre Dame) is at walking distance. At the corner of the hotel, there is a great cafe (bar for young people at night) where locals go and you can have the real French coffee and croissant breaskfast for a very reasonible price. The hotel is also superbly connected to public transport. There are several buses (for instance number 27 which has a bus stop at the corner and takes you to the Museum of Louvre literally door to door) and metro stations at just minutes walk. As it wouldn't be enough, the pintoresque Rue Mouffetard with its food vendors and cafes is 40 mts from the hotel as well as the interesting bookshops around the Sorbonne. Staff was really kind and professional. The only problem of this hotel is the internet connection which did not work well enough to have access from our laptops. We just had internet from our Iphones. The room is small but you are in Paris so, anyway this hotel is highly recommendable!
“Paris Gem”
Bargain price in a great area about three blocks from a Metro. Used as a base to see other area of Paris I had missed on other trips. Did not discover the square with ancient church two blocks away until last night. Small side street next to church loaded with shops, cafes, restaurants, fish markets, take out foods, and pastry shops. Could have eaten lunch and dinner there every day. Hotel is a good value for the price.
“perfect low-fuss low budget hotel for 3-day visit”
We booked this hotel upon arrival to Paris without much knowledge of the layout of the city or places we wanted to visit. Turned out nicely. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean and comfortably and not small but not particularly spacious. It is located in a quiet neighborhood near conveniently located near subway to major destinations and train to airport and other major transit centers. Plenty of places to get beverages and food that serve locals, has nice neighborhood feel. There are also rental bikes available close by. If you are mass transit phobic this is not the place to stay as it is a good walk to any destination. Having said that, we walked back from Notre Dame one day and Arc de Triomphe another. All this combined with the price made it a great deal.
