Le Rouge Marine - The shapely Rouge Marine bar has an extensive range of whiskies from all around the world, and offers piano entertainment during the evenings. Dinner can also be taken in the bar.
Recreation
The fully-equipped Club Med Gym (on rue de Berri), is just two minutes away. Joggers have the use of the gardens of the Champs Elysées, which are five minutes away.

“Will stay at again!”
Excellent hotel. Room was spacious. LArge bathroom. Extremely clean. Breakfast, although a little pricey, was excellent. And service and attitude of staff was finest I have experienced in Paris (20+ trips there). Location near Champs is outstanding. Highly recommended.
“If I'm in Paris again, I would stay there”
Overall me and my small family were happy staying in this hotel, they allowed us to check in at 9 am which very few hotels does. Gave us an upgrade from Superior to deluxe rooms without us asking for it.
“Welcome to the Hotel California”
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff spoke English very well, and were extremely friendly and helpful in booking tours and daily restaurants for us. The art in the hotel is incedible, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. I'll be back to his place - first rate!
“Close to Major Tourist Attractions & Metro”
The California Paris is right off the Champs Elysees and a quick walk to the Arc d' Triomphe. It is also close to Metro Line 1 (George V station) which will take you to the Louvre and near the Notre Dame Cathedral. The Charles de Gaulle Etolle station is just a few blocks past George V off the Champs Elysees near the Arc that will also take you towards the Eiffel Tower (Line 6). I really enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel to all the tourist attractions and the Metro and we would definitely stay there again.
“Only steps from everything in Paris”
The Hotel California in Paris is a charming place only steps from the Champs-Elysees (half a city block) frm the Champs-Elysses. The staff are friendly and provide good advice on places to dine in a broad ranges of prices. Art is one every wall and there is a business service facility with Internet access just off the lobby. Security is good and the onsite cafe is very nice (if not a bit expensive because of the Euro) for breakfast if you are really hungry. If not, just stroll down to the Champs-Elysses, buy a coffee and watch the crowds. The Metro is very close (George V station) and while there is no taxi stand outside the hotel you can hail one on the Champs-Elysses. I'd stay here again.
“***** Excellent Hotel *****”
Excellent stay with very attentive staff. Close to everything on the Champs-Elysees and great restaraunts in walking distance. Everything was top-notch from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Breakfast was o.k. with a wide selection. The shopping that is close is eye-poppingly expensive, but I have heard of better, less expensive parts of town to shop, so we didn't do any on Champs-Elysees. There is a men's shop that just opened a few doors from the hotel and the prices there were the most reasonable. The suite was marvelous and big, they also have duplex suites that were more expensive, but the same size as a regular suite. The difference is the duplex is on 2 floors, but the suite we booked had a large balcony with a table and chairs. If you can afford the suite, it is a better value than the regular rooms which are just as nice, but small.
“Never disappointed”
Prior stay was in the early 80's. Renovations were very nicely done. Just 1 1/2 blocks to the Champs. Hotel was clean, friendly and helpful staff. Room was large, well-appointed and comfortable. Hotel California is one of Paris's little-known treasures. Will definetely go back.

Very good hotel with a good location. Love it especially after the renovation in July 2011.

this was our second time and we just love staying here. the staff is incredibly helpful. will stay here again when-ever we go to paris.
