“Best place to stay in Paris”

The hotel staff was fabulous and quite helpful! The hotel was beautifully decorated and the rooms spacious and clean. I am definitely staying at the hotel next time I return to Paris.

“I recommend”

This is a very good hotel. The location is great, close to a metro station on a very nice neighborhood. The breakfast buffet is great .Excellent service!!. The only problem is that internet is so expensive. But We will love to go back!!

Concierge services were not up to par. It would be nice to provide access to laundry machines to guests- Mariott does that.

Area recommendations

Arc de Triomphe. Central location, close to Parc Monceau. Very quiet neighborhood.

What to pack

travel very light. There is a laundromat about one block away. So you can easily recycle your clothes- makes air and train travel so much easier with less luggage. The Paris Metro is spectacularly convenient and easy-to-use.

“Excellent Breakfast & Exceptional Service”

The hotel is about 5-10 minute walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We just love the big king beds and green art-deco baths. If you get one of those Executive rooms or suites, you have access the Executive lounge on 6th floor. They serve breakfast buffet, afternoon tea and snacks, and evening open bar there. It's really a great treat. The staffs at the hotel are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can guarantee to get one of the best service in the world. We even dare to say they are as good or better than the Fairmont's Orchid in Hawaii - btw, we really do love the Orchid. The hotel is really not that far from Charles de Gaulle airport. If you are a party of 3 or more, taking a taxi is a much better choice. It's about $50-$55 Euro per trip and is well worth it because it costs about $15 Eu per person if you are taking a shuttle bus. Also, taxi ride is only about 45 minutes versus 1 hour and 45 minutes for the shuttle (or train/metro). If you are only there for a few days like us, we stayed for 3 nights, purchasing a hop-on-hop-off (Open Tour bus) is a great investment. We were able to see the city and getting to the Eiffel tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame was just a walk in the park. Another thing, you might be able to save yourself some foreign transaction fee (3%) if you book on Expedia. On here, you pay in US dollar versus Euro (if booked directly on Hilton's website). Great travel!

Getting around

Take a taxi from the airport to the Hilton if you are a party of 3 or more. Cheaper and faster than other transportations.

Dining

Check with the concierge about getting a reservation at the Il Etait Une Oie Dans Le Sud-Ouest if you like local French food. Reasonable and excellent food and service!

“Great Paris Hotel”

“Great Location & great breakfast!”

Hilton Arc De Triomphe is a great location to all major tourist spots & tariff included breakfast. Nice, clean hotel, smallish rooms but well maintained. Concierge was helpful in advice.

Area recommendations

Must see: the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, Loiuvre & take the red double decker tourist bus tour to really see the city & find so much more to enjoy. Pre book for the fantastic Moullin Rouge show, which is easily accessible by train.
