“Very Nice All Around”

Just returned from Paris. This hotel was an excellent choice. Most important for me, being an experienced traveler is a good bed. This was the most comfortable bed I've had in years. Great pillows as well. Location is great. 5 minute walk to the Latin Quarter. Had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony. Typical size room for Europe. Nice modern bathroom. Staff was pleasant. Close to Metro.

“Fantastic modern hotel”

We had a fantastic time in Paris staying at St Michel. The room was gorgeous - newly decorated, modern quirky and elegant. The road of the hotel was quiet but the surrounding area was buzzy. We had one of the best meals in recent memory from a wonderful restaurant round the corner. It's very easy to get to the more touristy areas of Paris from here using the metro, or you can walk to places like the Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame and a variety of brasseries, salon de the's and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay.

“Quiet, quaint, sweet”

With its typically small room, tiny bathroom, and microscopic elevator, this hotel presents no grand surprises. But we were won over by the quiet central location, "en face de" La Sorbonne; the genial desk staff; and the very lovely petit dejeuner service. Minor quibbles were a confusing telephone activation procedure and misinformation on how to contact the front desk. But we considered the hotel a fine value.

“Great hotel in the Latin Quarter”

We could not have been any happier with this choice of hotel. The room was stylishly furnished and very comfortable, although not large. The location was central to most everything we wanted to see and do in Paris. The staff was always courteous and helpful. If we ever get to go back to Paris, we would definitely stay there again.

Chose this hotel for its location and comfort and were not disappointed with either. Great location - one street away from the Sorbonne. Quality room and great bed! Staff were very helpful indeed - couldn't do enough to help us. Not the cheepest hotel in Paris but if you want comfort, quality and a great location then choose Grand Hotel St Michel

“Small but nice”

I think most hotel rooms are pretty small in paris so I can't really complain about this one given the price. Its in a good location with a awesome french restaurant called Le Cosi near by. Its based in the Latin Quater and walking distance to the subway. If you like cycling there are the cycle points pretty much outside of the hotel which was useful getting around. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Staff were very friendly.

“Very happy”

Very good location. Close to the subway (RER - which we took from CDG). A couple of blocks from Notre Dame. ATM at the corner. It had everything we needed.

“Great Location”

Located across from the Sorbonne and in proximity to Luxembourg Gardens, this hotel is in a prime location, close to RER and metro stations, the Pantheon and, just a little farther, Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

“Very comfortable and great Location”

Stayed with my daughter for two nights. Clean, warm and comfortable room, good bathroom and shower. Very quiet. Great location on Left Bank. Would definitely recommend. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.
