“DO NOT BOOK!!!”

Although the location is great, the apartment was less than satisfactory. The bathroom is in complete disarray. The previous tenant broke the bathroom door, yet it was not fixed in time for my arrival. The tile on the floor was broken and chipped, which made it uncomfortable to stand on. The shower was impossible. It was difficult to get into, not enough standing space, the water pressure was no more than a trickle of water, and the hot water didn't last enough for one full shower, let alone two. The only way 2 people can shower is one at night, and one in the morning. I was arriving from another European destination,and so it was important to me to have an apartment equipped with a washing machine as I packed for only a few days. The unit did have a machine, but it wasn't hooked up or in working order. The manager, who was not very nice, was insistent that the apartment never advertised a washing machine, and that the one here is being stored by her son, and is not for our use. I wouldn't have booked if there wasn't one, and she argued with me that I was wrong in thinking that one was included. Furthermore, after arriving back from dinner, I found a very nasty letter on the coffee table from her. She stated that she didn't charge us the correct amount, and will be back to collect more cash. How unprofessional! She finally agreed to write a receipt- on a piece of scrap paper for the cash. In addition , she charged 20 Euros for cleaning, which is not advertised.
