“Confortable Hotel in very nice location”
Hotel is located at one of the Seine channelsin a nice and beautiful surronding near the Gare du Nord with quick train service to CDG Airport. Metro Station is 300 meter from hotel. Modern, clean and confortable rooms with good breakfast buffet. We can recommend this hotel.
“Suitability of hotel for travelling with kids under 2”
It was an environmentally friendly and clean hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful with directions and were very accomodating. (Needed extra spoon to feed baby, needed a adaptor plug for usage, these were provided free of charge for use). The room and bathroom were designed in contemporary fashion, and was very pleased with the white tiled shower and no tub option. I would give mixed review of the full breakfast provided, the hot portion of the food was rather tasteless. But there was wide variety, so you were definitely able to find something to eat. This is a great hotel if you are travelling with kids who are older than 2 or don't require a stroller. But because the hotel is located in Arrondissement 19, and most of the attractions are in Arrondissement 1 etc, you will find you need to switch lines, which can be a stuggle as most Metros don't have escalators, our toddler was in the between stage of using stroller and walking, so we found the location not to be suitable for us. Other than that, great hotel, next to a
“Pls. consider customer need”
We totally stayed 5 days at this hotel. On the first day, we're given a room on the first floor. This room was no privacy at all. The people on the street were so close to us. But we had to accept the room because staff said this was the only available room. So we made a request for a different room of higher floor on the second day. They made it for us. However, the room was too small. We couldn't even find a space to open our luggages. That room was impossible for 2 adults and 1 kid to stay. Again, we're told we had to accept it because staff said this was the only available room. So we would like to escalate it their senior management. But we're told that their manager was on leave and will be back on the day we leave. It's totally unacceptable. The overall arrangement was so bad. And they finally arranged a better room for us on the third and fourth days. As a consumer, we always like choices. If we know this hotel is not able to give us choices on the room, we definitely do not to choose this hotel! Pls. consider what consumer need and try to satisfy it.
“What an excellent location and ambiance in the area”
Arrived early evening, easy walk from Gare du Nord where we had landed from taking the Eurostar from London. Hotel is very modern and has that European flair for a Holiday Inn, quite different from the North American package. Very pleasant check in and room in very clean condition. Quiet surrondings and lots of local restaurants and activity on the canal. Dined in the cafe on the other side of the hotel, good food and reasonable prices. Best thing was the lavish buffet breakfast in the morning. Was expecting croissants and coffee and most surprised with full hot and cold selections, fresh cappuccino and lots of varieties of breads, cereals, juices etc. Would definitely stay here again. It's also close to the Metro and only a 3.40 euro fare for 2 into the centre of Paris.
“Mixed Review”
Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Rooms are small as is usually the case in Europe. Front desk personnel were not terribly helpful. Hotel is located quite far from city center although two metro stations are within walking distance. Arrived at 10am after a long overnight flight and was told that I had to wait until 2pm to check in which was annoying. Surrounding neighborhood appears to be working class. Two grocery stores located nearby.
“Plan to return in the Fall....loved the neigborhood!!”
This was our first trip to Paris. Picked this hotel for it's value & reviews....it did not disappoint. Hotel was clean, comfortable and located in a nice neigborhood along the canal. Metro station was a simple walk away and easy to find....only about 10 minute subway ride from all the excitement of Paris. At the end of a long day, it was nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood and enjoy the local scene. Oh....and the rooms are air conditioned!
“Loved the Hotel”
This was my 1st European vacation. This hotel was great. A 5 minute walk from the Metro and about a 20 minute commute to the city. I did not know the electrical outlets were different from what we use in the USA but the hotel did provide us with adapters so we could use our electrical equipment. Warning you will have a wait for the breakfast buffet but we went around 9:30 and there wasn't a line. The staff did a wonderful job of refilling the food supply. The eggs were horrible but other than that the food was good!! Oh and a word of advice if you are visiting any famous land marks/ monuments buy your tickets ahead of time. The on-site lines to purchase tickets are obsurdly long while the lines for tickets holders go much faster
“I will stay again”
It was a wonderful stay. The staff was very helpful, they speak English very well. Hotel and room were clean and breakfast was ok. The hotel is not situated very close to tourist attractions, but after you get used to the means of transport, everything seems easy. The hotel is in a quiet and seemed safe to me. Perhaps the only minus of the hotel is the Internet. It is quite expensive and wireles find only in the lobby, but it seems that Paris is a general problem, even ask for money for internet at Starbucks. However I Will stay again.
“CONVENIENT”
STAY WAS OKAY. GOOD BREAKFAST. CONGENIAL STAFF. We enjoyed it except that shower was a bit defective, no ice readily available unless you go ask for a cup of ice cubes at front desk....and also they kept the deposit on my credit card even though Expedia was fully paid for the stay!!
“Nice Place great staff”
The staff was excellent and the room though small ...large enough..wish there had been some more sitting room. Not sure what the noise was but every night osunded like people were moving furniture around...Might have had to do with the canal and stuff floating against the building. The bad thing was the ridiculou price for the interenet...and we still oculd not print boarding passes
