“Memories are made of this!”

The location of this hotel is just great for those who want easy access by foot, Metro or RER to some of the best places in and around Paris. We took advantage of the RER which is just 3 minutes from the hotel to visit Versaille. We walked the islands which are just charming and don't forget to visit Berthillon on Isle de la Cite (the queues of french people wanting to get in on Saturdays has to be seen to be believed). It is so easy to find eateries of every kind within 5/10 mins walk. For cheep and chearful cross Rue St Michael into the Latin Quarter where you are likely to get dragged in off the street by the restaurant owners. For classy expensive places walk in the other direction to St Germain de Pres. Every inch of the way will be filled with lively interest and the most wonderful chocolate shops!!! We didn't try the breakfast in the hotel as within a minutes walk there were so many cafes with tables and chairs spilling out onto the footpath to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying the croisant and coffee. The hotel is quirky and the stairs(and the building for that matter) built in a bygone era will make you feel drunk and dizzy if like us you climb the three stories to your room. The rooms were quaint, small, tidy, comfortable and the bathroom fresh and clean. Definitely not 5star but neither is the cost. For a clean functional bedroom in this vibrant part of Paris what more could you want(don't say luxury cos' it isn't here). Full of charm
