“Friendly services and great location”
All persons at front desk speak English, they are all friendly and willing to help. Room is clean and pretty nice - just renovated in Dec 2004. The bed is so good that, believe it or not, I did not want to wake up till 11:00am for the entire 5-day stay. Location is good - about 7 minutes walk from subway at the closest exist. Definitely will choose this hotel again when we go back to Paris.
“Great Staff in a nice area of Paris”
This hotel is a must if you are looking for a more typical Paris experience. The room is small (in comparison to north american standards) but comfortable and clean. The bath room was also small but clean. The shower takes some getting use to but the water was allways hot and the towels always clean. The staff was extreamly friendly and helpful. The area were the hotel is, is close to the Concorde is walking distance to alot of sites that you would want to see in Paris. It is also really close to the Metro. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Paris for Buisness or Pleasure.
“not bad for expensive Paris”
The location is very good, near the Madeleine and Place de la Concorde as well as the Grands Magasins. The rooms are small, but they are all small in Paris (except for the ridiculously expensive ones I imagine). The bathroom was clean and the bed was not what one is used to in US hotels, but I slept fine.
“As Paris goes...”
The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the sights and the shops. The room itself was small, however bed was comfortable, bathroom etc. were all clean.
“Excelent Location”
The best benefit of this hotel is its location. In adition it is possible to note that it has good cleanliness.

Spent my honeymoon here and was pleased with the hotel. The location is wonderful, it takes five minutes to walk down to Place Concorde.The room is small but the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The desk people were helpful and the lobby inviting. Overall a great experience!
“Impressive, affordable accomodation in centre of Paris!”
The Emeraude Madeleine Haussmann is perfectly situated right in the centre of Paris. Within 15 minutes you can walk to the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees and the L'eglise de Madeleine is right next to the hotel. With the Madeleine Metro station right round the corner, it is very accessible from the airports and it is very easy to get around Paris if you don't fancy the walk! The hotel staff were excellent and very polite on the whole (apart from one lady we encountered on arrival) and the rooms were superb and cleaned to a very high standard. I would recommend that if you were going to Paris without a balnk cheque, this is the place to stay!
“Location”
This is a reasonable hotel and it was very clean. The air conditioning is rubbish though and the bathroom had a few cracked tiles. If I went back to Paris I'd choose the latin quarter nearish Notra dame. There are lots of reasonable priced restaurants around there. If you want high street shops though this hotel is a short walk from them.
“Banal”
Accueil chaleureux qui compense le reste. Inacceptable : l'internet payant (qui en plus n'a pas fonctionné). Partout dans le monde, les hôtels sont équipés de WI-Fi disponibles gracieusement. La France semble encore vouloir être l'exception.
“Small hotel but in a convenient and nice locaton”
The hotel was smaller than I expected. The lift could probably fit just about 3 people and the room was very small and compact. The walls are also quite thin so you can hear people in the hall ways. The hotel is clean though and in a conventient location, probably a 5 minute walk to Madeleine Metro and there are numerous designer stores within minutes away. Overall good value for money, but just a little small.
