“Great hotel!”

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. We were within walking distance to all of the local attractions and the metro. The rooms are comfortable and typical of Parisian hotels, that is a little on the small side. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, many on the same street. Our favorite was the italian Giallo Rosso, complete with the owner's pug who visits with the guests. The hotel has a caring and very hospitable staff. If you need transportation to the airport, they can reserve a taxi, which is more like a private car. Ask for the "Black Cab" service. It is only a few dollars more than the regular cab and very reliable! Enjoy!!

“Small friendly quiet hotel in 7th arrondisement”

Good location and friendly owner. Ideal for Napoleonic and war museums and walkable to Eiffel Tower (20 mins). 2 metros stations easily accessible. Good range of cafes east and west off hotel (7-10 mins each side) for eating. Quiet street.

“Extremely Poor Service in a dirty hotel”

Hotel was run-down and unpleasant, with loads of silverfish in the storage area. Worst part was the rude staff - tried to call for help connecting to the internet and the guy on duty at the front desk snapped at me and hung up four times - each time after only about 10 to 30 seconds on the phone because "it was frustrating for him". The other guy on duty in the morning seemed annoyed that we wanted to leave our luggage in storage during the day as we had a late departure from Paris. He then tried to charge us as we left for this, without any indication luggage storage was extra. He was busy on a personal phone call so we just walked out and he didn't seem to care. Rude, snooty service for a rubbish quality hotel - not a single positive trait to suggest anyone should waste their money here.
