“Can't Wait To Go Back”
Loved the location of the Crystal Hotel and the friendliness of the staff! Convenient to the Metro and all Central Paris tourist attractios. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back.
“First timers to Paris”
We only had a few days in Paris and decided on the Crystal Hotel because of the location and intimate size of hotel. We arrived a bit early, but were able to check in after waiting a short 10 minutes for our room to be ready. The young lady at the desk was friendly and helpful when we needed direction to understand how to make connecting metro trains to get from one landmark to another. We definitley want to return to Paris for a longer time and enjoy it at a less frantic pace and will definitley choose the Crystal Hotel again. The room was clean and the neighborhood of Saint Germain des Pres was easy and safe to walk around in the evening when returning to our room.
“We'll be back!”
We were pleased with the Crystal Hotel. The staff was curtious and very helpful. They speak very good english, which made communicating a lot easier. And the price for our room was very reasonable. It's location in the Latin Quarter is just perfect. Many restaurants and shops are within a few yards of the hotel, and the Metro is just a block away. St. Germain de Pres' church is just one block over as well. All-in- all our visit was made even better by staying at the Crystal Hotel.
“charming hotel and great location”
Simple yet charming little Hotel located 10 mins walk from the Notre Dame
“David Johnston”
This Hotel is rated 3 stars, personally, I'd give it 4! Most who have stayed here give it a five star rating and I would do that too, but it's really not a five star Hotel. It's a perfect Paris Hotel in a perfect area for a reasonable price, how can you go wrong. Bruno heads a great staff whose main concern is your trip and making sure you are taken care of. Our room was huge, number 4 on the first floor up, the elevator is small, but that's Paris. It's a great area for walking, feeling safe and enjoying a multitude of sidewalk cafe's. The air conditioning was the best I've seen in Europe; I like it cold and I even had to turn it off. It will be our hotel of choice (in Paris) from now on.
“Great hidden gem in the perfect location”
The hotel actually surprised me positively, as it was wonderful stay. Got us started on a great time in Paris! The room was great, with a comfy bed and new bathroom. The location is amazing, right behind the Cafe de Flore and the St-Germain du Pres station, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and other nice areas. Only issue was the WiFi signal wasn't strong in the room, and there was an issue with the A/C which they however fixed. The staff were very helpful with any of our questions or concerns.
“Hotel Crystale - St. Germain Area - Fantastique!”
Hotel Crystale is located in the beautiful, busy and exciting St. Germain area which includes many restaurants, great shopping, and, in general, places for just people watching! Seven minutes over the Ponts des arts to the Louvre, near the metro, near the bus tour stop if that is what you seek, and so much else-- so its location was a key factor for it all. . The staff is superb - each one at the front desk from our greeter Bruno to everyone else was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have an older decor but the bathroom was fairly new and we found it to be very clean, and daily maintained well. Small life/elevator but that is the norm for these "boutique hotels". We were happy there was one! Free WiFi a bonus! We were thrilled for the convenience, the ease of walking out the door and having a choice and convenience of a plethora of exellent cafes, art galleries, shopping and restaurants. The welcoming atmosphere and staff, the location, and the price for that area make it a great choice!
“Highly recommend this one”
Our stay was very enjoyable. The hotel had a excellant location with in walking distances of all major attractions and stores. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean, sizable and very comfortable. We will recommend this hotel to everyone.
“Excellent location, nice friendly little hotel”
Hotel was in a brilliant location, loads of great stuff within easy walking distance. The room was nice and clean, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would say this is a fairly basic hotel, but is perfect if you are planning on doing a lot of sightseeing as you won't be spending much time in the hotel apart from sleeping.
“Best location in Paris!”
The rooms are nothing special, simple and not particularly spacious. However, the location is absolutely wonderful! We loved being in St Germain des Pres; it's a lovely area that's not too touristy, so it's a truly Parisian experience.
