“An excellent and economical hotel to stay while in Paris.”
The location of the Coypel Hotel one block from the Plaza Italie ensures for the traveler easy access to good Parisian cafes and restaurants and to the taxis, public transportation and the subway station. You find yourself minutes away via the metro from the Arch of Triumph or the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is in a very secure area, neighboring a police station. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The availability and willingness of the staff to assist the clients makes the traveler feel comfortable and secure while visiting Paris.
“Very good”
Exellent location, many restaurant, supermarket,in the surrounding, the hotel is very confortable and clean, the room size aceptable. My stay at this hotel was very pleasant.THANKS!!!!!!!!
“Great staff!”
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Every time I saw them, they seemed happy to see me. The day staff spoke very good English. I would say the best thing about the hotel was the staff. The rooms were fine. The size of the room was somewhat small, but I was actually surprised how big the bathroom was. The furnishings are a bit on the older side. Since we were there in March (off season), noise wasn't too much of a problem but it might be worse if the hotel were busier. The first night we were there was chilly, but the rest of the week we stayed it was quite warm in the room. The location was good since it was very close to a subway hub. The neighborhood was safe too. There are many close, convenient stores and restaurants nearby.
“Great hotel and perfect location for the price!”
I stayed in a family room with 2 of my friends. As students We didn't use too many of the services in the hotel, but over all our experience was really good. I called up the hotel the day before we arrived and was able to get helpful information relating baggage drop off before check-in. All the staff had at least a rudimentary grasp of English, which was helpful. The room was clean, and was re-cleaned everyday. The washroom was amazing, and much better than the one I have at home actually. So we were quite sad at having to leave the hotel on our last day. The best thing about the hotel has to be the location. It is located almost next to a major metro stop, which is just a 10-15 ride to most of the famous attractions in Paris which was great for saving us time on transportation.
“Good hotel”
The staff at the hotel were friendly and they are bilingual ( french and english ) and the hotel is kept nice and clean all the times. I definately recommend this hotel for the price and the location is close to almost everithing.
“Pleasant and comfortable”
The room was clean and comfortable, though rather small. But since I assume people don't come to Paris to sit in a hotel room, that probably doesn't matter much. For non-French speakers it might be a minor problem that the television had no non-French channels. The breakfasts were quite satisfactiory, though a bit more variety would have been appreciated. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. For my needs - a place to sleep while I did some work in paris - it was quite adequate and not too expensive.
“QUIET LOCATION”
A small but very efficiently run hotel in a quiet area of Paris within 3 minutes of Place d'Italie métro, ideal for all parts of the city. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would recommend the hotel.
“Good location but some noises”
Good location. Some noise from streets. Good perfromance price ratio.
“Nice to stay”
The hotel is pretty good...clean and nice with the price. Plus it is very convenient using subway or join other tour groups, as a lot of tour groups are gathered in De Italy Square.
“Small and quiet”
The hotel has no AC which would make it dreadful in the summer, but overall has the amenities you require in a hotel but it is a bit on the small side. The bathroom shower is very small and I am not a large person! It would be impossible for a man/woman of larger girth to take a shower without hitting the faucets! It does have free Wifi in the room and cute places to eat around the hotel, but it is a trek from the center of Paris and all the sights. Place d'italie is the metro station that it is closest to, which leads you to most sights in Paris. Not useful if you want to come back to relax in the hotel before your next adventure in Paris as it is out of the way. The hotel is very quiet and it was an overall pleasant stay, but I wish I had picked something closer to the areas I visited. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, this place is great! Plus a really cute cafe attached to the hotel that wont break the bank.
