“Great location but hotel not as advertised”
We booked a superior room and was very disppointed with its amenties and size (did not look like any of the pictures on the internet). Also there was no view - their website refers to views from all rooms. When we enquired at front desk we were told that there are two types of rooms - the inside and the outside - nowhere on any of the internet references for this hotel does it say that a superior room as opposed to a delux room would have no view. Apart from a small wardrobe there was nowhere to store your clothes. We had requested a queen bed - instead got two twins put together which is very uncomfortable for a couple. Front desk were not helpful in addressing our concerns and when we requested a different room were told we would have to pay extra
“Met expectations exactly.”
The hotel provided everything one would expect: clean rooms, prompt room-makeup, friendly, efficient front-desk and concierge service. It's location adjacent to Gare St Lazare makes it handy for getting around if you choose to take the Metro and there were always taxis in front of the hotel. It is maybe 10 blocks from Plaza de la Concorde and the Champs Elysee. It is a fun walk between them with plenty of shops and eateries. It is also close to the Garnier Opera and, if you like walking, within reasonable distance to the Louvre in one direction and the Arch de Triomphe in the other. We asked for buckets of ice each evening for our Champagne and it always arrived within minutes. I can find no faults with the htoel.
“Nice Hotel”
We received good service overall and the hotel had a nice historical feel. Very close to the train and metro which proved to be very convenient. I was pleased with the Concord and would recommend it to others.
“Concorde Opera Paris”
Upon arrival, we upgraded to the Rotunde Suite because it was available earlier-- and it was amazing!! The walk-in closet was lined in wood and plenty big. The ceilings were high and we had 3 big bay windows on the corner. The room was a really nice size. The website says the room has a Queen bed but it actually has a King. Two drawbacks were as follows: 1) We could hear the security dogs in the nearby St. Lazare train station -- barking at night, and 2) we read a prior Expedia review that said the hotel had an arrangement w/ a nearby Fitness Center. That turned out to be 20Euro/person. Otherwise, it worked out well for our 5 night stay. Thank you
“Paris”
The hotel itself was great. The area...not so much. The hotel is right beside a major train station, which can be good if you are connecting to other cities and the metro is just around the corner. However, the homeless and street people are living on the curb right beside the hotel! There was a lot of noise at night from street bikes and people yelling on the streets. The area was not charming. The staff and the service was excellent though. The rooms are really large for Europe standards. The staff was certainly helpful in booking excursions. Didn't eat there because it was so expensive, so can't remark on the food.
“Concorde Awesome”
If you're looking for touristy then this hotel is in a great place and a busy area near shopping. The staff are great and I got great service from Imane. Internet was fast. If you're looking for real Paris and not shopping and seeing the sites then don't stay here.
“I'm sure I will go back”
easy acsess to shopping and sightseeing areas.
“A pleasure right in the heart of Paris!”
We had 2 nights at this hotel. Upon check in we were upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious, comfortable and we did not want for anything. The location was excellent for shopping and access to the Metro. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers. If you can get it at a reduced rate, which we did, then that's what makes it palatable for sure. Paris is expensive so getting accommodation at last minutes prices makes it more affordable.
“Excellent location - Rooms don't look like pictures”
First night checkin.... hotel room so small had no where to put my suitcase. Complained that the room looked nothing like the photo for a Superior Room. Was told the photo was of their best room which wasn't available. Moved to another room 2nd through 5th nights. While larger... still nothing the size of the photos. Excellent location. Next door to a major train station and Metro. Staff extremely nice. Would stay here again.
“Loved this hotel!”
My wife and I have visited Paris several times in the past and have always stayed in smaller family owned hotels. We decided to pay the extra money this time and stay in a four star hotel and we have never been happier with a hotel. The staff was always available to answer our questions and the hotel was very clean and located right next to subway station. My only complaint about the hotel was that the bed was extremely hard. Overall, a great experience!!!
