“next time in paris...”

This hotel was perfect for me because I didn't intend to spend much time there and just wanted something basic with a private shower/bathroom... the location is great... to and from CdG airport was simple -- use the Roissy bus from terminal 2A and it drops you off at L'Opera Garnier -- only a few blocks from the hotel.... Louvre is a 10 minute walk, Eiffel tower about 30 minutes... and a metro station only around the corner... the hotel staff was friendly and comfortable speaking french or english... I have already recommended this hotel to friends -- and may stay there again on my next trip

“Worn but tidy with great service”

We stayed at Comfort Hotel for 2 nights. The reception is very tidy and the staff manner's very polite and professional. Our room was smaller than we expected, but very tidy with an LCD tv and the expected bathroom amenities. The towels were pretty threadbare, but clean and the pillows were quite flat, but the sheets were all fresh. The only real annoyance with the room was that the shower head didn't have a hook, so you had to hold it in one hand. Maybe this was by design? It was new to us. Overall, we were felt we got what we paid for. It was all clean, so can't complain too much.

“close to metro”

worth the money. located close to the metro with lots of restaurants and little shops. THey will let you leave your bags at the desk until check in which was very helpful.

“Geat location, so so hotel”

But we weren't there to hang out in the hotel... The location of this hotel could not be better for sight-seeing and easy access to one of the major metro lines. The big department stores were all within walking distance and the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Opera, and Seine were all within a manageable distance by foot. This is also a great location for anyone who enjoys antiques as there was a multitude of little antique stores in this area. However, if you start walking in the wrong direciton, you quickly get into an iffy neighborhood. The hotel itself was very basic. Small rooms and very little closet space. We were in town for a wedding and not being able to hang up gowns and suits was a let down. On a positive note, even though all rooms were smoking rooms, there was no cigarette smell. The staff was friendly and all but one spoke English. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel (a buffet for 8 euro) since there were several cafes that served coffee and croissant breakfasts. There was also a number of little restaurants and sandwich/crepe shops nearby.

“Not Impresses”

Very small room which had a strange smell mix of cigarettes and urine which was worse when heating on. Very uncoperative staff, spoke english but didnt wan tot give information. Very good location, walking distance to most things.If this is all you can afford then it is ok but there are lots of other 2 star and 3 star hotels int this good location.
