“Great Place, Great Location”

Fantastic starting location for those wanting a true taste of life in Paris. You are far enough away from Moulin Rouge and other major attractions that you almost feel like one of the locals. The Metro station (Lamarck Station) takes you directly south to the Seine, to Place du Concorde. This stop is right next to the Louvre's west end and is a great way to see it for the first time. There is a photo developing shop a block away to the west, as well as a few bank machines that have the international useage. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area, and a Boulangerie (bakery) right next door to the hotel. Between the hotel and the photo shop is a grocery store, where you can save some money on food. The courtyard opposite the hotel still has the loud youths, but is the only "open" area in this part of town. They didn't go till all hours of the night, and like I said above - it was nice to get a feel of what it's like to live in Paris. They have their own breakfast serving in the basement which is nicely laid out and has pastries, fruit cocktail, cereal, coffee and tea. You do have to keep in mind that this is Paris, and space is a premium. The rooms are quite small, and so is the bathroom. But you are here to see Paris! Great place to lay your head after a long day of walking. I would definately stay here again!

“Close to the metro: great EU breakfast”

If you are over ~250lbs you might not be able to get into the in room showers: great EU breakfasts: a great deal for a Paris Hotel within ~150yds fron a metro stop.

“Too small !!”

The room was way too small for the price. I had a double room (that was all that was left when I booked). The hotel is clean and in a nice part of town, but then again, there are so many nice parts of town. I'd recommend looking for something cheaper.
