“good for price”
great breakfast
“Cheap hotel, good location, filthy bathroom”
Bathroom had mold and the shower was gross. The rest was as expected for the price. Good proxity to SACRED HEART CHURCH.
“Terrific!”
This was the second time my daughter and I booked a stay here and were just as satisfied as the first! The hotel staff are welcoming, helpful and professional, and the hotel is convenient to the metro. The neighborhood is local and gives the feel of daily Parisian life, instead of being in the middle of all the tourism. Two-star accomodations, keep in mind if you are looking for fancier accomodations this is not it. Clean and efficient.
“Get what you pay for”
The room was smaller than expected, even after reading other reviews. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, so if you are like us and only needed a place to sleep and shower that is located in a great location, this one will do. Breakfast was good. Great cafes and bakery near by.
“STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
I can not stress enough how bad this hotel was. Our room was filthy. The bathroom wasn't cleaned in about 4 years. The hotel was extremely loud. There were 2 homeless people wandering the halls, one of whom had a suitcase wide open in the middle of the hallway that he was rummaging through. We checked in, then we checked out in 1 hour. Montmartre was a beautiful area of paris, but there are plenty of other hotels in this district to stay at. Stay at your own risk!!! As my good deed for the day, I warn all of you not to stay here!!!!

“pleasant, affordable hotel in a charming part of Paris”
I stayed here for one night in July 09 and had a very pleasant stay. First, I must complement the staff. They were friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Second, right outside the hotel is a quiet little intersection with active bars, cafes and restaurants. For those open to walking, a short hike up the hill to Sacre Couer (at any time, day or night) is well worth it. Views are stunning; streets are charming with plentiful restaurants and abundant shopping (mostly tourist stuff, though). Overall, the room was clean and quiet. I'd stay there again.
“3rd stay at this hotel”
This is in a great area, walking distance to the Sacre Couer & all of that area. The metro stop is a 3 minute walk. The rooms are on the small side but adequate & quiet. The hotel staff is always willing to help. They offer shuttle service to the airport for 45 euros.
“Close to the metro: great EU breakfast”
If you are over ~250lbs you might not be able to get into the in room showers: great EU breakfasts: a great deal for a Paris Hotel within ~150yds fron a metro stop.
“Very budget, great area to stay but not that great of a hotel.”
We picked this hotel due to the area (Sacre Couer), the room was very small, and it was hard to move around, the rug was old and the sheets had rips in them, and the shower holder was broken so you had to hand hold the shower. I also think we got some flea bites while there. The biggest issue was the noise level, you couldn't open the window because of the noise level outside at night, and inside the hotel you could here the other guests in the other rooms. Other than that, we only used the hotel to sleep in and didn't take breakfast in it, so if you are looking for basic then this is it!!! The only plus to this hotel is its cheap and its in a great area, for bars, restaurants and walking distance to the LAMARCK metro and easy access up hill to Sacre Couer 15 mins or so which is a great area to visit during the day and a great area to get drinks & dinner in during the evening. Would recommmend this place just for the area. However I would suggest upgraded to a deluxe room (if available) and asking for a top floor room to avoid inside noise.
