“St Germain - the best location in Paris”

We really enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom appartment which was modern, clean and extremely practical for a family of four. As Paris is a very expensive city if you are eating out all the time, we used the excellent facilities to prepare breakfasts and dinner in the appartment. Our room did not face the Seine but did have a view of Notre Dame over the roof tops (just the spire!) however, it was nice and quiet (the road along the front is very busy). The beds were comfortable too! I would definitely recommend the location as you can walk to all the central attractions such as Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, The Louvre etc and it is only 5 minutes walk to St Michel metro station to visit further attractions. Also if you are coming on the Eurostar this is a direct metro line from Gare du Nord so no having to change lines with heavy suitcases!

“Great location and very comfortable!”

I read all the reviews before booking this hotel and it was worth the time. The previous reviews were great and we had an excellent experience. Staff were friendly. We booked a one bedroom apartment. It was very large and nicely furnished. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but had everything. The bathroom (toilet is in its own little room) was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. Nice view of private gardens from our room. We were on the fourth floor. Very quiet. Modern elevators and nicely decorated common areas, halls etc... I would definitely choose this place again!.

“Brilliant location”

We are a family of 4 (two boys 9 and 12)- this hotel has been absolutely ideal for us as we didn't need maid service etc. It is in a prime location, lots of nice restaurants close by - we have had a fantastic trip. Definitely recommend.

“Excellent place for families / Great Location”

Great hotel! Very clean, spacious, & comfortable. Air conditioning was a blessing during summer heat. Centrally located for all sights; can walk to everything. Best part of town to stay in... near quaint stores and cafes vs. commercial side of city. Perfect for families of 4.

“Very Impressed”

This hotel has an excellent location. Easy walking distance to the Metro, RER, Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, the Lourve as well as plenty of cafes. The staff were very nice and helpful. The studio room we stayed in was very nice, modern and extremely clean. I definately would go back!

“Thrilled with hotel and location”

Hotel was wonderful- staff helpful and friendly. Free internet and computers to use were great. Coffee machine in lobby was a nice treat. Beds were SO comfortable. Hotel and room were very clean. Quiet, safe area at night. Great neighborhood with good restaurants and shops nearby. Had a bit of trouble with our phone receiving calls but it was taken care of quickly when discovered. Not far from Metro. Tons of room- so much better than a hotel room. Been to Paris twice- Can't wait to go back- would stay here again in a minute.

“just as good the 2nd time!”

We have stayed in this hotel in 2003 & 2006. It is close to Notre Dame Cathedral & Metro access - great location - felt quite safe. We had a living room with a fold out couch & a bedroom. The hotel seems to cater to business travellers, but was great for tourists, too. Will probably stay there again next time - nice to go back to some place you can count on.

sophia and the staff extremly helpfull. Had a one bedroom apt was perfectt for my wife and I. Easy walk to louve and notre dame. If you cross the ponte nouef half way across turn into the buildings and there ia a small plaza no people trafic and no cars, the rose of paris restauarant is the best in all of st germain.

“Perfect Paris”

Well I have never booked through Expedia before and I have never stayed in a city apartment either (stopped in apartments on Greek Islands etc but never in a city). It was the best thing we did. The apartment was off the river Seine and four paces away from Pont Neuf. We arrived in Paris at 8.55am and check in is at 2.00pm but I emailed before we left to check whether there was a luagage room (which there is and it it is kept locked which is great) but upon arrival I was told my room had been prepared for our early arrival. Excellent!!! The room was spacious with a loevly clean bathroom, dishwasher, two ring electric hob, microwave, fridge and all the utensils you could want including a corkscrew. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets were also provided. In the main lobby there was also a coffee machine that served different coffees, hot chocolate, tea etc and a fresh water machine. All for free. The district was amazing with lots of cafes and restaurants. I could not fault the whole expereince. I am already looking at going back to the same apartments later this year.
