“Love it, the place to stay in Paris”
What a great hotel, we have 2 small kids so this kind of hotel is perfect for us. To be able to make them breakfast before a big day out is great, and to have a fridge that is not a mini bar is awsome!! The staff are very friendly and always available to answer any question. The room was larger that i expected which is unusual for Paris!! And with a metro station a stones through away is awsome!!!!! Oh yeah some friendly advice!! Paris Metro.........not real good if you have 2 strollers with you!!!!!!
“Great location. Walk to Louvre, Notre Dame. Metro on same corner.”
Front desk staff were friendly and spoke Spanish and English also, so a great help. Our room was a Premier Apartament (for 4). Very nice for families. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby. Clean, modern design to hotel. Recently updated. Easy walk (10-15 min.) to Louvre and Notre Dame. Metro stop right on the same corner. One drawback is that the Les Halles complex is being demolished, so if you walk that way it is a bit unsightly. Also, some of the locals in the park next to the church at night were unsavory. All in all, a very convenient place for a short stay in Paris.
“Excellent local and comfortable hotel”
We really liked this hotel. It is centrally located, easy access to the main metro and RER stations. Our room on the 4th floor was great! Very comfortable, all you need. A small kitchen was a nice addition, too. WIFI worked very well. The bathroom was small and very clean.
“Good location, there are some workers in the area right now but the hotel is good”
The hotel is great, the front desk people are very kind and always trying to help, they speak English very well. The area of the city where this hotel is was wonderful, walking distance to many places, it has a supermarket in the same building, has a bakery 2 blocks away. Metro station is a block away....shopping center 1 block away, lots of restaurants and shops in the area.
“I would go back again”
wooow this place was fantastic, the service , the cleanliness of its rooms and the best 2 things in it the staff and the location of this place (less than 1 minute to the largest metro station in paris )
“Great location”
We stayed at the hotel with our two college age daughters and we had a great time. We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette, a living room and a large entry (where the kitchenette was located). The suite had ample storage for the luggage. The bedroom had two single beds with comfortable mattresses, pillows and nice bed linen. The living room had a pull-out sofa and our daughters did not complain. The only minor problem was that, other than a desk and two chairs, there was no table to sit down at and have breakfast (we had our simple milk yogurt cereal and fruit for breakfast in the room). This could be a slight inconvenience to people who wish to have more meals in the room, but we preferred to enjoy our lunches and dinners in the nearby restaurants, which are abundant. The hotel is being renovated now but we did not spend time there during the day and at night it was quiet in spite of the busy neighborhood. If you wish to spend time in the hotel room during the day, call or e-mail the hotel to find out when the renovation will be finished. The desk personal was courteous and had a good command of English. We walked almost everywhere (that is the best way to discover the city), but the Chatelet Le Halles metro and train station is right next to the hotel. This is a large metro center/hub with many lines connecting.
“Paris trip with Family”
Great location and adequate accommodations for the 4 of us. Cramped bath room and sitting room doubled as the bed room for my two daughters. The hotel was very clean, friendly front desk, did not offer any room cleaning during the stay - which essentially meant you spent most of the time touring Paris. Walk to everywhere - great proximity to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint Michels and even the Opera district. You aren't paying for super fancy accommodations, but rather location. Would stay here again!
“Great Location and Pet Friendly”
Great Service from the time we got in to check out. Rooms were nice and spacious while well located near the latin quarter, shopping, food, etc.... We also were travelling with a pet i.e. needed a pet friendly hotel. Citadines came through. Highly recommend.
“Perfect for 1-week visit”
My wife and I were spending a week in Paris with our 22-year old son who was studying in France. We chose this hotel because it was a more spacious option without going to two separate hotel rooms. We were pleasantly surprised with everything - clean, courteous, apartment-like room well-equipped. The location was great - right at a subway station, walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, other popular areas. Loads of restaurants and cafes nearby, and we certainly felt safe at all times. The lack of daily housekeeping was not an issue at all - as long as you expect it there is no difference than being in a true apartment on your own. The only small negative is that we had a street-side room and it was a bit noisy into the early morning hours. It would appear that a non-street side room would be quieter. Overall though this was a great value for the money in a perfect area of the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely consider staying there again.
“Apartment idea is great, but location...”
Having a kitchenette was really nice. We arrived at 2pm and we got our room right away even though the check-in time is 3pm. The staff are really helpfull and polite. We could see the eiffel tower from our room which we spent hours looking at it at night. The location can be scary a little at night. A lot of gangs hang out and some even hang out in front of the hotel doors which can be annoying. The noise level at night was not that bad, but we were not facing the fountain so that might have help. Positive point about the location, the metro is just outside the front door (maybe 100 feet). If you stay here, be sure to check the "Forum des halles" and go on St-Honoré street, there is a great bakery (Boulangerie Julien).
