“Excellent Loaction”
The hotel was located a block from the Louvre, 200 yards from the subway, and several excellent restaurants in the square. Our bedroom was a little snug but we had another large room with a couch, desk, and TV to relax in. We did not use the compact kitchen but a grocery store was only a block away if you needed it. Internet was free ,which was a plus!
“Very Happy”
I stayed here with my family for one week. Since it was 6 of us, we had one studio and one apartment. I requested in advance to have a connecting rooms, and they gave us the perfect corner rooms facing the plaza. We cooked almost every day, which is a great way to save some money since food was so expensive. They gave us a map to markets where we can buy food to cook. Their sofa beds were a lot more confortable than any other ones that I slept in at other hotels. Staff were very friendly, too. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great location and want to have something more than just a room with beds. Great way to experience Paris.
“Highly recommended”
Just returned from a week at this hotel. The reviewer before me said it all. Great location, near the metro and everything you'll need including many great restaurants. In addition to all of the neighborhood brasseries, a few blocks away is an area full of great Japanese restaurants (off of Ave de l'Opera)and the courtyard of the Palais Royale right next door has several excellent restaurants. The rooms are not fancy but are very clean and more than adequate. My one bedroom on the corner, with two balconies and large windows overlooking 2 fountains and the Louvre, was laid out well. The bath and toilet (separate rooms) are in a hall that can be closed off between the bedroom and living room. The shower was great. The bed in the bdrm was comfortable. Living room sofabed was mediocre. Take toiletries including liquid handsoap unless you want to buy them there. Hotel only gives one tiny bar of soap and small shampoo container. The staff were friendly and patient and act as consierge for the constant guest questions and requests for recommendations. They are probably not paid for this extra service so I'm guessing they would appreciate tips. If you don't require the lap of luxury but want clean, safe, functional and a convenient location this is the best place to stay in Paris.
“Excellent hotel”
We had two bedroom room for four people. The room was great, more than enough, we were suprised with how much space there was actually cos some paris hotel rooms can be quite small. The staff were helpfull and friendly and the rooms were very clean. The location is fantastic for first time visitors as it's close to all the attractions. Great hotel for the price.
“Best Location”
Neat, near everything, lots of help from the reception.
“Love it, go back asp!”
it's in the center of everything you expect. Thank you!
“Great hotel - great location”
We stayed at Citadine Apart hotel Louvre from Sat 23rd Aug 2008 for 3 nights. Our party was 2 families of 4, with 2 children age 9, one 12 and the oldest 13 years. The hotel is in a great location minutes from metro and Louvre Museum itself. We were able to walk to Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompidou, Pantheon and really soak up the city. (bear in mind that we are all able bodied and fairly fit!). We had 2 rooms at the hotel each had lounge, bedroom and kitchen area that was very well equipped including dishwasher and iron and ironing board. The sofa bed in the lounge was large and the whole room clean and well kept. I requested rooms on high floors and we were given rooms on floor 6 (7 was top) so had great views from the balcony. Check in and out was easy and quick with friendly staff who spoke english. We had breakfast 2 mornings in the breakfast room at the hotel. Nice buffet, with pastries, croissants, pan au chocolat, fruit salad, yogurt, toast, juices, tea coffee and hot chocolate. All for 9 euros a head which was good value. In fact they started to run out of food on both mornings because there was a bit of a run of people coming in so the concierge dashed out to buy a load more croissants etc. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was a little more pricey than some others but we chose it for its central location and the amount of space in each room. Would definately recommend this hotel as a family friendly
“Outstanding location”
Hotel has a wonderful staff plus it is very clean. The location is one of the best in Paris as far as I am concerned. Many restarents very close and the security in this location is wonderful. Also, less than 1/2 block to the underground
“Great end to an exhausting trip...”
I stayed here for three days after an exhusting week of backpacking through Italy and staying at hotels that were ...err... a half star better than a hostel. This hotel was exactly what I needed to wind down before returning back home: Friendly staff and clean/spaciacous/warm (atmosphere)room.
“What a great place”
Stayed for a week with family (2 teenagers). The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. We had a room facing the street, overlooking fountains and parisian life. Only drawback was it can get little loud. So avoid if you are a light sleeper. We were so tired each day from all the walking, that none of us had trouble sleeping. Staff is extremely helpful and speak fluent English. Free coffee and espresso all day! And free internet to top it off! Grocery stores 9including a large supermarket) and several patisearies around the corner. One block from the Metro, 2 blocks from the Louvre, 3 from the Seine. What more can one ask?
