“cheap and well placed”

very good value if you just want somewhere to stay(nothing fancy),3 mins walk from Dupleix Metro (Bir Hakeim Metro currently shut),10 mins walk from Eiffel tower, room small but adequate, bathroom small but fine - good shower and bath. Building work going on round hotel but not a problem unless you want to sleep during day. Safe and friendly neighbourhood.

“Small but perfectly formed”

This hotel was the best I've stayed in so far in Paris. I was in a triple room which was small but not annoyingly so, and it was very clean. The reception staff are all very friendly and speak excellent English, and managed not to laugh at my bad attempts at French! A good hotel to use as a base as it is very close to both the RER and the Metro lines. Would thoroughly recommend it!

“Would recommend and would definitely go back!”

We were really impressed with this hotel, especially for the price, it has a great location and the room was clean, comfortable and everything we needed. The staff were always on hand and were friendly and helpful. Really pleased we booked this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or to go back there ourselves.

“enjoyed our stay”

room was nice. we were on the top floor, with one large bed and one cot. beautiful windows that opened and if you leaned out you caught a view of the top of the eiffel tower. nice atmosphere. just a short walk to the eiffel tower, a convenience store, a fruit stand, and a few restaurants. staff was nice, although they didn't all speak much english were still very helpful and between his english, our french, and a little charades, we were able to communicate what we needed and he was more than willing to help. the man who worked the overnight shift was incredibly sweet and very helpful and attentive. the breakfast looked great the day we were checking in but overslept the next day and therefore missed it. but looked fabulous! def. a nice stay and would consider staying here again.

“Tiny but bright and really perfect!”

If you want to be right in the heart of Paris then this hotel is perfect! The front desk people speak english. Some very well, others so so. All were wonderful and curtious! This hotel has recently been remodeled and looks very nice for a budget hotel. New floors and paint. Brand new beds that where very comfortable with plush down comforters. The in room tea, coffee, and cookies where replenished daily. You can see the Eiffel tower from the street in front of the hotel!! There is so much to stay. We stayed there for 12 days. Though the space was small it was really wonderful. My mother and I are both big people (fat) and despite what others say you can fit in the shower. Yes it is cramped but for the price it can't be beat. The hotel is less than 4 blocks from a very central metro stop so ground transport is simple and easy! There are also grocery stores and restaurants near the closest metro station so picking up food on the way back "home" is convieniant and easy. We really did enjoy our stay at this hotel. Yes if we went for this long of a trip again we would consider getting a larger room but for a shorter stay we will definately be back. The only downside other than the size of the room was the fact that the hotel had no ice machine. However we did find a local fast food place that gave us free cups of ice daily. Paris is really expensive so on a budget we ate a lot in the room. So many wonderful memories. Also there are large windows that open! No a/c has a fan! Enjoy!

“Great choice for a budget”

It was my wife and I's first trip overseas (we are both 25 years old and grad students) and we had a small budget. This place fit for us but beforehand we were worried about going to a 2 star hotel. We decided to book because we found consistant positive reviews from other websites with the only negative being the size of the rooms. It met and exceeded our expectations in every way. True, the rooms are small. There is enough space for one person to walk around the bed. Thats it. The bathroom is small and in the double room that we had the shower was large enough for one person to turn around in it. Otherwise the place was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Not everyone spoke english (night staff mostly did not) but those that did were very nice and good help. Another plus is the location. It is located a medium sized block from the metro and 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. We will go back and stay here again.

“great little place. Nice location”

The room was not as small as I thought it would be due to other reviews. It was quite comfy and just what we paid for. We did not try the breakfast as we did not eat breakfast at all. We saved our appetites for lunch at the restaurants down the block. We shopped at the supermarket a lot. The shower does have a funny control in it that you hit when you are in the shower and it can be hot or cold if you hit it, it is very small and hard to avoid bumping it.

“Will certainly go back”

The staff at this Hotel made us feel welcome and gave excellent service. They all tolerated my attempts to speak french (which I have to admit were pretty awful!) and were prepared to advise me in both French and English. The room was clean and comfortable and the Hotel was conveniently located. I would happily stay here again and was impressed with the standard of service given by a friendly and helpful staff.

“Great cheap hotel in brilliant location”

Very clean hotel room (compact but adequate). Great location - very central, 10 mins walk to Eifel Tower. Near restaurants and short walk to Metro. Perfect budget hotel. Tea & coffee in room. Would definitely recommend.

“Small rooms but excellent service”

The rooms are small but the service is exceptional. Anything and everything we could possibly need- the staff provided or helped us get. If you're on a budget I would definitely recommend you stay here.
