“Cheap Hotel but DISGUSTING restroom”
The exterior and hotel lobby look nice and modern, however the hallways, room, and rest rooms are disgusting. The smell in the restroom was awful! It smelled like a cross between a dirty locker room and urine. If you dont mind the smell and want to save money and go for it, however i would never stay there again. When we put the "do not disturb" on our door, the maids would still knock on the door and bother us. We got stuck in the elevator twice during our 4 day stay...not long, but its still the principle. On a brighter note, it is walking distance to the eiffel tower and local attractions, so the location was the only nice thing.
“Great location; don't rely on the wifi”
This is a decent hotel if you're not spending a lot of time there: it's clean, close to the Eiffel tower and subway, and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful (especially the older gentleman with long hair and glasses--he was great!). However, the rooms/bathrooms are tiny, the elevator is claustrophobia-inducing (max 2 people), and the wifi was spotty unless you were in the lobby. The doors are also quite tricky to unlock.
“Small rooms but excellent service”
The rooms are small but the service is exceptional. Anything and everything we could possibly need- the staff provided or helped us get. If you're on a budget I would definitely recommend you stay here.
“OK, But Not Great”
Hotel is small, room was tiny. The biggest problem was that the door to the room was almost impossible to open; even the staff (who [cheerfully] had to come up to open the door most of the time) had trouble. Also, one day they took all the shower curtains out to clean them and told us to make do without them for 2 days. Location is great. Staff is friendly and responsive.
“Great Paris Location”
We loved our stay at this fine budget hotel. Sure, the rooms are small, but that's not unexpected in Pairs The room was clean, quiet, and the staff very nice. The location is less touristy than most, so you're able to see everyday Paris as the Parisians live it. Still, it's only a ten-minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Try the Linois brasserie on Linois Ave. for great salads and good prices. The hotel provides a hot pot, so you can start your day without spending 10 dollars for nasty French coffee that can't be drunk without cream and sugar. You can find all kinds of shops and bars in the interesting surrounding streets.
“Tiny but bright and really perfect!”
If you want to be right in the heart of Paris then this hotel is perfect! The front desk people speak english. Some very well, others so so. All were wonderful and curtious! This hotel has recently been remodeled and looks very nice for a budget hotel. New floors and paint. Brand new beds that where very comfortable with plush down comforters. The in room tea, coffee, and cookies where replenished daily. You can see the Eiffel tower from the street in front of the hotel!! There is so much to stay. We stayed there for 12 days. Though the space was small it was really wonderful. My mother and I are both big people (fat) and despite what others say you can fit in the shower. Yes it is cramped but for the price it can't be beat. The hotel is less than 4 blocks from a very central metro stop so ground transport is simple and easy! There are also grocery stores and restaurants near the closest metro station so picking up food on the way back "home" is convieniant and easy. We really did enjoy our stay at this hotel. Yes if we went for this long of a trip again we would consider getting a larger room but for a shorter stay we will definately be back. The only downside other than the size of the room was the fact that the hotel had no ice machine. However we did find a local fast food place that gave us free cups of ice daily. Paris is really expensive so on a budget we ate a lot in the room. So many wonderful memories. Also there are large windows that open! No a/c has a fan! Enjoy!
“Good location, bad service”
When we got there the receptionist was pretty rude. We didnt feel very welcome. The only things that came out of his mouth were the room number and floor. We got to our room which was pretty small. Our remote for the tv didnt work. and you could hear when the room on top of ours flushed their toilet. In the mornign the cleaning opened the door without knocking and before the checkout time. The location was great. I would recommend it if you dont mind the service and are just looking for a good location near the eiffel tower since it is walking distance. It was also near a metro station.
“I regret to have stayed in this Hotel..”
If its youre first time to visit Paris, this is not the hotel for you. The staff arent helpful in so many ways, like fixing the non-working room phone, and they advertise that their is a 24hour concierge- their is none because the staff sleep and its very hard for them to wake up and they woke up they are grumpy and irritable. My room was located few yards from that very noisy elevator and its hard to sleep either day or night. One occassion i asked help of the staff to talk to this French Speaking taxi company on the phone about my needs and he was adamant about it. It was really a very unfovarable experience for me in that hotel..No Business center that you can internet access, what they have is a metered computer that was very slow moving and it was very expensive.. Its way under my expectation..The toilet is close to the wall, If you have long legs you cant fit into that toilet. No clear mirror..The staff werent business oriented, they have poor costumer service..
“Good location”
The only thing we liked about this hotel was the great location to the metro station and that it's about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. The room was TINY and we could barely open our suitcase, since there was only enough space in the room for the double bed. The shower was also TINY and the shower curtain was falling off. Since we didn't spend much time in our room it wasn't too bad. There's a small grocery store near the metro where we bought food for breakfast and that was much cheaper than eating at the hotel.
“Nice for the price”
Very cute hotel. The tv gave us problems turning on but they promptly fixed for us. Great location! Would stay again.
