“Great location, clean and comfortable”

The Campanile was a short walk from the Gare du Nord, perfect for Eurostar travellers, and has the Louis Blanc metro directly opposite the entrance. Our twin room was small, but perfectly nice. Clean en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds, and quiet room. Would definitely return when next in Paris.

The hotel was actually very nice and clean. Very respectable. Staff were friendly too. We were surprised how reasonably proportioned the room was for us despite reading reviews on how small it was previously. Given our experience though at this hotel I would say "go for it" because its clean, easily accessible, right opposite the metro station (Louis Blanc) and next to loads of food shops and other useful outlets. There is a brilliant bus service within 1 minute of the hotel and on a nice day can actually walk to the centre of Paris. Indeed we walked from Gare Du Nord and it took about 10 mins. Breakfast was good value comparing other outlets in Paris but this is extra. Only down side is that there are NO English TV channels but I guess it is France!!! Overall I'd give 9/10.

“Great holiday...fab hotel ...will go again!!!”

We booked to go away very last minute. We had a freind from Paris who said the area wasnt the best of Paris but it was nice and safe...After a very easy, safe, comfy, spacious journey on Euro Star we arrived in Paris. The hotel was 10 minutes walk and was just off the road the station was on...perfect. We arreived early so dropped of the cases and went for a walk. We found surrounding the area not that nice,it wasnt bad, just not a good reflection of what Paris has to offer. The hotel twin room was fab, small but very well appointed. Comfy beds, clean white sheets, fresh white towles, flat screen TV (all french channels), free wifi, tea/coffe and comp biscuits. Plenty of hot water and a power shower too. Room staff were very freindly, check in staff a bit dull but polite if you spoke to them. Shame that as its the 1st impressions that count!! Louis Blanc Metro was only 10 meters across from the hotel and with in 10 minutes you were in the heart of what Paris is all about. The street cafes, the Saine, Louvre and so much more. Would we go back to Paris and stay there again?....for sure we would. If you plonked this hotel in the center of Paris if would cost you soooo much more. It gave us just what we wanted, value for money and close to everything.

“Punches well above its weight”

This is my seventh time I've visited Paris and this has to be the best hotel I've stayed in. Staff were friendly, open 24 hours, hotel was clean, room was immaculate, location was excellent (15 min walk from the Gard du Nord and metro across the road will get you anywhere in Paris) What more could u want? Did'nt opt for the breakfast- I like to eat out- so cannot comment. However the breakfast area looked very nice. The rooms were the best ive ever stayed in and would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not super posh, but if you want a decent place to sleep and a great place to explore Paris from this is about as good as you are going to get.

“Great hotel for the price”

The service at this hotel was great. The rooms were a decent size and very clean. The bath tubs are quite deep and can be difficult to climb out of, so this hotel may not be great for seniors. The breakfast was quite nice but not included in the price. We were charged for this when we checked out. The best part of this hotel besides the cookies/biscuits provided in the room is the location. It is directly across from the Louis Blanc metro station and there is a lovely bakery around the corner.

We arrived early at 9.30 am and the room was immediately available. The hotel was close to metro Louis Blanc bakeries and restaurants.

very good hotel. Good location!! metro just opposite hotel. Walking distance to Gare de L'est which is great. Many bakeries around. You will definitely not starve. Very nice restaurants around. Good food!! Just the perfect hotel n perfect location. Hotel was clean. It is worth it.

“Nothing fancy but reasonable price hotel near main stations”

Booked this because it was a reasonable price and near Gard du Nord and L'Est (The Paris Metro is not designed for suite cases!). Reasonable standard for a hotel of it's class. Staff were very helpful.
