“I would stay again”
Small comfortable hotel which is very well located for the Arc de Triumph and all adjacent tourist areas. It is approximately a 35 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Restaurants abound - you will not be caught with nowhere to eat. The staff all speak English and are very helpful. Highly recommended.
“Great Hotel”
The staff is great. Spoke good english and were very helpful. Close to the metro and on a nice street with several good places to eat. Would stay here again.
“A fantastic hotel from which to explore Paris”
One thing I loved about this small hotel was its location. Situated in a quiet narrow street, the surrounding area is untouched by tourism. There's a fantastic patisserie right across the road which was excellent for morning croissants and a nice café next door for coffee. A fruit shop was only 2mins along an adjoining street and was great for amazingly ripe peaches and for bottled water which could be kept chilled in the hotel room fridge. Walking to the Arc de Triomphe and nearest metro station took only 7mins and there were lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby (Recommend the Beer Station!). The best way to get here from CDG airport was by a return ticket on the Les Cars Air France bus which left frequently from the airport and drops you off at the Arc de Triomphe in 35mins. The hotel room itself was quite small, but certainly big enough. The bathroom had been recently refitted and was huge! Brand new toilet and sink and the new shower was massive and worked really well. The locked safe in the room was free of charge. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, all spoke very good English. The garden at the back would be great to sit and have breakfast at which can be bought from the hotel. Definitely comes highly recommended!
“Christmas Holiday in Paris”
Our family used two rooms that were just close enough down the hall. Our adult daughters stayed in a smaller standard room and I sprung for the extra money for the next level up room for the wife and me. If you can spring for the dollars, do it. The rooms were well furnished. They were clean and kept that way. Our room was even large enough for a table and three chairs for some meals together(food in Paris is over the top expensive!Plan to eat a couple of nice meals but make most of your meal a late lunch, the daily specials are great in the bizstros, take advantage of them... grab sandwiches and salads -food cost a FORTUNE!!!!! ) We ate out once a day and ate food from the bakery or grocery other times in our room. Each room had a fridge big enough to keep OJ and water from the grocery. Right across the street from the hotel is a grocery, a bakery and a take out Chinese, down the street is the ORIGINAL "Paul" pastry shop with a section to sit for coffee and pastries in the morning if you like, it was awesome. The hotel is in a safe and convienient part of town, less that 8 min walk to the Arc de Triumph which gets you to the right bank via the metro and this is a major stop for the Air France bus from CDG. You can walk in a slightly different direction to the RER and go to the left bank and out to Versaille and CDG. The hotel staff was amazingly helpful in tips on how to do this and that, get here and there...
“Great Experience”
The accomodations were lovely and the staff extremely helpful. It is a bit off the beaten path so don't leave without your map (provided at the desk with the location of the hotel clearly marked). If you have any special requests - I suggest calling the hotel directly prior to going. We had chosen a superior room because we needed sleeping accomodations for three: It is clear, we would not have gotten that room without a call the week in advance. Saw one person checking in who needed the same and was unable to get it - the staff was great figuring out how to meet their needs in another way.
“Good stop on our journey”
This hotel had the expected small European rooms and bed (very short bed), but the hotel was quaint and quiet. It was just down the street from Arc de Triumph and metro. It had wi-fi internet in the room, no charge. Grocery store was right across the street for stocking up on some water. Breakfast was included, a typical European one. Would definitely return here. Note: If arriving into Beauvais airport (the airport RyanAir flies into) and taking bus into Paris, the hotel is 10 minute walk from bus stop.
“Hotel of choice for Paris”
My 13 yo daughter and I traveled through Europe and stayed here for 3 days. It was absolutely perfect. Great location! Easy walk to Champs Elysees. Great neighborhood. Lots of Patisserie's for breakfast. Plenty of food and shopping nearby. Easy walk to metro'. The staff was amazing! So nice and helpful. English is spoken throughout the hotel if your french still needs a little work. We've stayed elsewhere in Paris, but this is my new hotel for future visits.
“Lovely quiet hotel.”
We stayed at this hotel with another couple. Our room was very clean and well serviced and more than enough room for us, but our friends had a marvelous large room overlooking the garden. We were there during the heat wave and were well impressed with the air-conditioning, what a god send. The breakfast was a little expensive, but we were able to eat it in the garden a lovely start to the day. The staff were friendly and spoke English. This hotel is ideal for couples or families, but its in a quiet resdential area so may not appeal to younger people looking to be near night clubs and bars.I would definately stay there again.
