“Very small, good location”
Service was only okay, internet is only available in lobby and is charged. No printer so we couldn't check in for our flight the next day. They charge 12 Euros per person for the breakfast.
“GREAT SERVICE! VERY CLEAN!”
My mother and I stayed in this hotel for four nights. We were able to check in at 1:00 p.m. and got a room on the 6th floor. We had two twin beds that were pushed together and there was very little room to move around. The room did include a small closet, a desk and a mini fridge which came in handy. The bathroom was decent size but the stand up shower was extremely tiny. I am 4'11" with a small frame and could barely move in it. However, the room was clean and the hotel was in our budget. There is a metro directly across the street which was very convenient. The catacombs are within easy walking distance and if you start craving American food there is a restaurant named Indiana on the same side of the street as the hotel about a block away. Oh.. at night we were able to see the lights from the top of the Eiffel Tower from our room... very beautiful!
“Best value stay in Paris”
Standard-excellent-Best Western room in the heart of Paris for a very good price.
“Hotel westren”
it was ok
“Great Location and Hotel”
Hotel was in a great neighbor with cafe's, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. Metro was across the street. The RER train station was just a 5 minute walk which we took to and from the De Gaulle Airport and to Versaille. The Catacombs entrance was across the street from the RER station. Location was also just a 30-40 minute walk to the Luxumbourg Gardens and the Pantheon. Hotel staff was attentive and helpful with anything we needed, including obtaining wine opener. Great vacation and experience.
“Good deal”
Very good hotel for the price. Metro close by to take you to the tourist spots AND back to the CDG airport via RER. If you choose to walk 5 minutes to the Denfert R metro stop instead of taking the metro across the street (Mouton), you will have a much faster ride. We walked everywhere because nothing is actually very far in Paris, but if you don't like to walk, the metro is there for you. Almost inside the Paris Catacombes and near the Jardin du Luxembourg. Don't spend your money with the 12 Euros hotel breakfast. Bakeries are near and wonderful (including a organic one). The McCafe (inside the McDonalds) has great coffee and pastries. Room is not big, but most hotel rooms in Paris are small. If you are really fat (over 250 pounds), you might feel uncomfortable.
“Tired furnishings but good value for dollar”
Though the room is very compact, about 2 ft of space on each side of the twin beds and the carpets are over due for replacement (faded and stained), the room was clean, sound proof with the window closed (we were on the street side) and beds were comfortable and a/c worked well, so it passed on all of my important must haves. For the price - I felt we got our monies worth. The bathroom is also compact and no where really to put your toothbrush/paste, make up etc. If you can get past the small space, the location is very convenient - the Airport bus from Orly stopped 2 blks away (turn right at the Indiana Restaurant for Ave General Du Le Clerc). We walked or took the metro & RER everywhere and managed to see everything on our list in the 3 days. Bottom line is you're getting a comfortable place to lay your head with no frills at about 1/2 the cost of the average Paris Hotel and it worked well for myself (middle aged woman) travelling with my 21 yr old son. The "Yellow Taxi" van service to CDG airport is a good deal at $20 euro pp if your 1 or 2 pax.
“GOOD HOTEL FOR TOURIST.”
This small Hotel is perfect for the travelers that needs only a place to sleep and eat a fine Breakfast. The rooms are Very clean with a modern bathroom. The size of room is fine. Beds very comfortable. Shower though very small but good. The Metro is across the street and the rail is a very short walk. Loads of Cafes to eat.
“Great Location in a Real Paris Neighborhood”
Overall very happy with our 1 week stay at the hotel. The neighborhood was the best part! The bathroom smelled a little bad at times - maybe the drain had a bad smell. Also, double paned windows would screen out the road noise better. Felt the hotel was a decent value in an extremely handy area of the city. The staff was very accomodating. Try the bakery around the corner for fresh warm almond croissants in the morning!
“Excellent Location”
This hotel is in a very nice location across the street from a metro station and easy walking distance from an RER station. It was convenient to both the airport and the Gare du Nord for Eurostar trains. The rooms are small, but quite comfortable. We were quite happy with our stay here.
