“Excellent location and great service”

Perfect location, nearby all the activities, restaurants, cafes, bars of the latin quarter, Musee Cluny, St Michel, Notre Dame, two metro stops, but on a nice quiet street. Front desk was very helpful and courteous. The standard rooms I stayed in was small but impeccably clean and with modern furnishings. I stayed alone so the size of the room was fine for me. I felt perfectly safe as a single woman traveler and chose this location for that very reason as I travel to Paris often and lived there previously. Good choice for a nice standard hotel in Paris.

“Great Hotel experience June 2010”

As I noted we were more than impressed with the Hotel and the staff. The staff were very helpful in answering our many questions and offerred valuable insights into travel arrangements, dining and many other miscellaneeous questions that arose. The room though small by Canadian standards was very spacious and was very neat and tidy. It offerred a great balcony view and was very quiet at night. The breakfast meal offerred to guests was great and the menu was vast. Couldn't more highly recommend the Hotel and would definitely stay again

“Great location”

The main thing i'd say about this hotel is the location. A few minutes walk from the centre of the busy latin quarter and Notre Dame yet it's set on a very quiet street. The only noise we heard was singing from the church round the corner, not unpleasant at all! All in all a perfect hotel for exploring the city. I would definately come back here!

“Great location, very friendly hotel staff”

The hotel staff here were charming and helpful, answering all our questions and helping us to get the most our of our trip. Our room was small but absolutely spotless and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a great location, with a metro station just round the corner (Maubert Mutualite). The RER train station at St.Michel Notre Dame is only 10 minutes walk away. This was handy as we got the RER train straight from the airport. You can't avoid steps though so possibly not advisable if you have heavy cases! A single ticket from the airport was 8.10 euros and the trip takes about 30 minutes on the B3 line. We asked the hotel staff for recommendations about where to eat in the evening and headed for Rue Mouffetard. This is about 20 minutes walk (up-hill) but offers a great selection of reasonably priced restaurants and lots of shops and cafes that are open late. There's a little square with bars and cafes which are great for people watching. If you want to avoid the up-hill walk, take the metro to Place Monge. On Saturday the hotel staff told us about the little market at Place Maubert which is just round the corner from the hotel. I think this runs 3 times a week. It's well worth a visit - full of scrumptious food stalls. Also on the Sunday we walked across to Ile de la Cite where the flower market also becomes a bird market. We also went on the boat trip that runs from Pont Neuf. This is near the hotel and I think the smaller boats are nicer than the huge Bateau Mouche boats.

“Very Enjoyable”

Great location. Two minutes from metro, five minutes from RER, and five minutes from Notre Dame. Sorbonne a stone's throw away. Helpful staff, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was wonderful -- nice breads and pastries -- and we wished we had taken it more than just the one morning. Room a bit small, but that would be our only quibble.

“Perfect Stay”

Great location and great service! The folks at the front desk were so helpful, polite and spoke English perfectly. The only drawback was the small size of the room, but that is to be expected in Paris. We were so impressed by this Best Western that we booked into the Central Best Western in Tours and again were not disappointed. Who would have thought that our trip to France would have been spent in Best Westerns?

“Perfect base to see the sights”

Nice hotel with modern, functional bedrooms and bathrooms that are kept very clean. Very good cold buffet breakfast - worth paying the bit extra after trying a few street cafes. Very friendly and helpful staff, mostly English speaking. The electric sockets in the bedroom have an earth ping so make sure your adapter has a round hole for this. Reception loaned us one until we could buy one. Excellent location between the River and the Pantheon, 10 minutes walk to Rue Mouffetard with its lively street cafes and reasonably priced restaurants. 10 minutes (max) to Notre Dame etc. No 63 bus to Trocadero (for Eiffel Tower) goes from Rue d'Ecoles at back of hotel (2 mins). First time in Paris - buses and metro quick, cheap and efficient - why can't WE have public transport like that? Would definitely return to this hotel.

“nice but small”

Very nice workers. But the room was very small...I think that is what you get for the area and for the price. We didn't want to pay extra for a place we planned only on sleeping in. The front desk very very helpful with anything from directions to suggestions to calling a cab.

“Highly Recommend”

We loved t he hotel and its location. It is a boutique hotel at a very good price. Very clean and the continental breakfast was excellent. Close to restaurants and shopping. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Would return again.
