“Wonderful small hotel in heart of Paris”
The hotel was great. The location is ideal, within walking distance of many of Paris' great attractions, as well as the metro and RER. It is on a quiet side street, so noise is never an issue. We stayed in a standard room, which while small, had enough space for us. The front desk staff is great and are willing to help with restaurant recommendations. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel for both long and short stays.
“Very impressed”
A fabulous little hotel very close to all the main sights. A short walk to Notre Dame and the restaurants of the Latin quarter. The owner is a delightful lady who cannot be more helpful and all the staff that we encountered have the same attitude. The room was spacious for Paris and spotlessly clean. We spend a lot of time in Paris and this is the best hotel we have stayed in.
“Great location, perfect for a weekend away”
I booked this hotel after hours of searching on the internet for the best option, combining price, location & service. We were very impressed with the warmth of the welcome, the room was compact, but comfortable and well-decorated in a contemporary style throughout. We didn't use any of the facilities, choosing to breakfast in one of the many cafes nearby. A quick walk to the Seine and the buzz of the Latin quarter, but located on a quiet street. I would definately book this hotel again and recommend it to friends wanting a left bank hotel.
“Great Location, Modern Rooms”
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Aug 2009. It looked like the rooms were recently renovated. Very small rooms but modern furniture and bathroom. It is one block behind St.Germain so it was very quiet. It was quite walkable to all of the major tourist sites, the Eiffel Tower was the furthest and probably about a 35-40 minute walk. Everything else was within about 20 minutes max. There's a couple of grocery stores about a block or two away. Metro station is a block away. The only things I found cheap in Paris was the bread, crepes, and water. There's a great bakery, charcuterie, wine, and cheese shops just around the corner from the hotel. Great to pick up a few things for a nice picnic at one of the parks. When you leave the hotel, make a right and follow to the end of the street. Turn left and they'll be right there on your right-hand side. Right in front of the Metro station. When I go back to Paris I will definitely check the rates at this hotel again.
“Great hotel, great location, will def go there again”
This hotel was recommended by a friend, then I saw it on Expedia and booked it... Great hotel, about 4 blocks from Notre Dame cathedral and the latin quarter.(night life/restaurants etc) All of the hotel staff spoke English and were very helpful. Starbucks is a 5 minute walk.(out the front door, turn left). Eiffel tower is about 2 miles down along the river, Le louve about 1 mile. We walked, but it was a bit of a hike. River boat tours were right there. Train station Gare du nord was a 10 minute cab ride. I would recommend and I'll definitely go back.
“Surprisingly good”
Quiet but convenient location for metro (Maubert Mubualite, line 10)and access to food and other visitor attractions (eg Notre Damn). Small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast in attractive situation. Only down side was First floor room faced into internal courtyard (though attractive small internal garden) several floors down. Room was a little warm and with the windows open quite a lot of light from other internal facing rooms, but this was not a major issue. Next time I think we will book a superior room, which from what we could see were bigger, better decorated and located outward facing.
“Great location lovely standard of hotel”
We were very delighted with this hotel. The location was excellent - just a 5-10 minute walk to Notre Dame. We spent 2 nights here and walked everywhere we went. The hotel was very clean, the room and bed were bigger than I had feared. Breakfast was excellent, well worth the money - we ate so much we didn't need to buy lunch out. Remember to ask for the kettle tray for your room. The hotel staff were courteous and spoke great English (even though I have a degree in French they insisted on speaking to us in English).
“Very Friendly & helpful (would definetly go back )”
The hotel is located in the Latin quarter close to Notre Dame & within walking distance of the major sites. Although the hotel was not the Ritz, the room was clean, quite, modern with air con and a good size, the bed was also extremly comfortable, the lounge & Breakfast areas very pleasent & all the staff could not of been more helpful, I enjoyed my stay here & would definetly go back.
“I'd stay there again. Nearby to all the main sites.”
It is near a Metro and Train station so you can take the train to and from the airport, very quick and easy. Most main sites are nearby, notre dame, louvre, luxenburg gardens and plenty others so we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The iffel tower and souroundings is a bit far; 1.5km, but we walked to it too. Lots of sights to take in on the way. Your there to see paris not metro tunnels. Get the city map in hotel lobby it saved us alot of getting lost. The rooms were small but that is the norm. Washroom seemed brand new so was the room which was nice. Room had a mini fridge we used to keep some water and juice. Get breakfast outside the hotel, at a fraction of the cost and again you want to see paris not a breakfast room.
“Would definitely stay here again!!!”
My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we were vacationing in Paris for one week. The hotel was exactly what we needed and met all of our needs. It was very clean, located in a great location and the staff were very supportive in helping us find our way around. The hotel is a five minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral and located off a quiet street which was really nice. It's also located right on the metro line so travelling throughout the rest of Paris was incredibly easy! I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris.
