“Will definitely go back”
The hotels location is very good 10 mins walk to Notre dame and therefore most major attractions are walk able reach. The hotel is located next to two main boulevards so many shops and restaurants, the hotel service is great and the staff are so helpful.
“Great location.”
Excellent location, extremely friendly staff. Bathroom was nice, bed was very comfortable, room was very clean. Small grocery store was right across the street. Metro was right around the corner. Definitely will stay here again.
“Excellent location”
This hotel is only just off the Boulevard st Germain and 10 mins walk from Notre Dame. The room we had was quite small and the one problem we encountered was a blocked shower but these negatives were easily outweighed by the location and the lovely reception staff who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We would stay there again.
“pleasant experience”
nice clean hotel, the rooms were small of course
“V. small rooms, but comfortable for two people.”
Good location, close to Latin Quarter and Notre Dame.
“Great staff, intimate hotel, FABULOUS location”
The hotel staff were so helpful to us. I phoned from home (Toronto,Canada) before we left to ask for directions from the airport via Metro. They had excellent suggestions for restaurants and were pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel is located on a major street but is completely quiet inside. It is about 10 min. walk from Notre Dame and about 5 min. from the Latin Quarter. There are Metro stations within 1 block of the hotel. About two blocks away are a few bakeries and coffee shops. We ended up having breakfast everyday at a coffee shop -- fast, inexpensive and amazing -- rather than sitting in a traditional restaurant for that meal. Our room was small, yet very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. For dinners, almost all the restaurants were "prix fixe" which is great. There is NO additional tax or tip, so the price is the price. We found the prices very reasonable for the food (some things were a little higher, but not by much). We bought the "carte orange" upon arrival -- this gave us unlimited metro/bus travel for 7 full days -- this is the biggest bargain and saves a lot of time and hassle. You just jump on and off your connections. We took the metro absolutely everywhere.
“A very pleasant stay and we will return”
Very nice and clean hotel in a wonderful location. We selected this hotel because it is close to Sorbonne and we were glad we did. Highly recommended.
“Charming Hotel in Great Location”
We stayed here the second week of September 2007 and had a great time. Hotel was super clean, the staff was very helpful, they had an internet kiosk (for charge) and you can't beat the location. Less than 5 minutes from Notre Dame and Metro. Great central location that is accessible to all the sites. TONS of cute cafes, restaurants and bars very close. I would definitely stay here again.
“An Excellent Hotel”
We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western La Tour Notre Dame. The hotel is charming. Our room was well-appointed and the bed very comfortable. The room was small, but it was no problem at all, and I'm sure that it was little diferent from many other hotels in Paris of the same calibre. The hotel's location in the Latin Quarter was ideal. 10 minutes walk from Notre Dame, the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Gardens. Although we bought Metro tickets, we walked to many of the places we wanted to visit. However, the Metro and the RER (train) stations are very close and so easy to use. We will definitely stay in the Latin Quarter again, and can recommend this hotel.
“Good little Hotel!”
It's true the rooms are on the smallish side but they are comfy.. I stayed there twice in a week.. AC works , CNN on the tube, great location and very nice staff.. They pointed me to a good wine shop on Rue Monge where you can also buy fresh bread at the bakery etc in the morning for a cheap breakfast.. good cheese next door to thw wine shop and a great open market , sat, tue and thursday! cool clothes and food... Aas far as restaurants : avoid the Bar a Huitres near by.. cold service and 45 minute wait for the wrong meal.... there are lots of nice places within blocks to try..
