“Clean room in a dirty neighborhood”
Small, impeccably clean room in a dismal neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower - good for a night's stay if you're catching the train from Montparnasse station the next day. The hotel manager and staff are very nice, but even their hospitality couldn’t overcome the graffiti and gloom of the neighborhood. Stay in the Latin Quarter or near the Louvre for an ideal trip to Paris.
“expected more”
First time to Paris. Did not know were to stay. After our visit we would have stayed near the Louvre
“Fantastic Stay!”
The hotel was in walking distance to the Eiffel. While the rooms were a bit small ( we had 3 beds) we didn't mind because we would spend the entire day out exploring and only back in the room to sleep. The staff were VERY friendly and helped me in french translation!
“Great location, decent place to stay”
very helpfulstff. The locals value your attempts at using french, before they'll offer you their knowledge of English. Take this as your only opportunity to really bring out all of the french that you've learned in your life. With this attitude, you'll do well in Paris. Many Parisiens will wait and see how well you can manage their language. They greatly value your attempts! There's free computer access in the lobby. Yes, the elevator is small - get used to it; its quaint. Buy a Paris Pass (2,4 or6 day ones.) You get to see 60 places with no line ups and you get the metro use included. Hotel is kept clean. This IS Paris,so expect rooms to be smaller and not quite as many luxuries; then enjoy yourself! Don't let small stuff detract from the WONDERFUL Paris! take a bottle of wine and sit to watch the lights of the eiffel at night along with hundreds of other romantic fools. This hotel is a quaint place to stay and I would go back there without hesitation. The staff are friendly, helpful and charming. Thanks!
“Not bad for the price.”
The downsides first: * Elevator was small * Hotel room was comfortable for 2 only * TV channel line-up stinks The upsides: * Affordability * Walking distance to METRO * Within walking distance to Eiffel Tower * Within walking distance to many Cafes, not to mention McDonalds and PizzaHut. * Friendly & attentive service * Free Wi-Fi, availability of adaptors for electronic devices. * Bed and sheets are comfortable * Great view from street facing side of hotel
“Budget hotel...still a good play to stay”
The hotel is aged, but is in decent condition. The elevator is extremely small...with luggage, only one person can fit inside (no exaggeration!) I would not recommend for someone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay. I would recommend this hotel for people who are on a budget and still looking for a good place to stay. Its about a five minute walk to the metro, and there is a bakery (which is excellent) across the street. Good location in reference to everything. Staff was excellent and very helpful for everything!!! Please note, there are no north american plugs, you will have to bring one (I borrowed one from the front desk for 10 Euro deposit) Overall, we had a great stay!
“It is an OK hotel”
The hotel is located within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower which is very nice. The downside would be given the downtown nature of the hotel street noise is on going all hours of the night. This hotel is also small, small as in one person and a suitcase at a time on the elevator small. The rooms are also small. The nearby pool cost more money than it is worth to use. The local neighborhood is not a 24 hour area. After 10pm there is not local cafe to go to for food or drink. As far as the staff, don't expect anything more than minium effort on their part.
“Never this hotel again”
I would never go to this hotel ever again.
“Not Bad but not the Best”
This is a fairly typical hotel. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Rooms are very small, which can make it a bit uncomfortable for two. Only one person and their bag can fit in the elevator at a time. Location is pretty central. Metro usually requires at least one transfer.
