“Great Hotel with excellent front desk”
This was a great hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Helped with directions and taxis. It was an easy (and pretty) walk to the Lourve. And the bistro across the street had the best French Onion Soup I've ever tasted. But mainly the front desk was GREAT. Super helpful and nice.
“Comfort place”
Everything is fine except the street is a little noisy at night.
“Good option, just for resting after long days of walk”
It´s location is quite convenient because Sebastopol Boulevard drives you right to downtown Paris and a subway station is just half square far from the hotel. The service is fairly good, the breakfast is just like that, and the rooms are kept tide.
“Poor sound proofing and a lot of street noise”
The hotel is right on Rue Blondel which I now know is an area known for some of the "evening entertainment" of a very private nature. That said, there's no issue or pressure so to speak. The hotel is on a main route, and there is quite a bit of street noise, the hotel would benefit from much improved sound-proofing as the noise inside the room was too much for my liking. Comfortable enough, and conveniently located for Les Halles and various metro lines, but not somewhere I would be in a rush to return
“Good value for money”
This hotel is moderately priced just outside of central locations like Louvre or Notre Dame. If you are going to use the metro location is perfect , there is a well connected station right outside the hotel. The neighborhood is not perfect, because at night you might occasionally see a suspicious character or two (sometimes a prostitute) . But regardless we had no problems. The Breakfast is 14 euro (small breakfast 8) which is a little overpriced. On the other hand staff is helpful. You have free wifi which usually works but signal reception is lower on higher floors. The room was clean even thou a little small.
“close to nigthlife”
small, near to main street, safe to walk at nigth
“Pleasant, convenient hotel”
I spent one pleasant night in the Best Western France Europe and have no complaints. It's conveniently located - just round the corner from a Metro stop and a pleasant walk down to the Pompidou, Seine etc. There were plenty of supermarkets, bakeries, bars etc. in the immediate area. I stayed on a Saturday night and the bars were pretty lively but my room was quiet - no noise from outside at all - and the area felt safe. The room itself was crisp and clean - on the small side but I wasn't staying long so not a problem. I'd stay there again.
“sympa”
Chambre propre et assez calme. Bonne situation dans paris. personnel sympathique
“Good Location for Central Paris”
This hotel is a good location for those looking to stay in Central Paris (near the Marais, Les Halles, Ile St Louis). Notre Dame, Pompidou Centre, Republique are all within 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. The location was key and this hotel did not disapppoint for walking around the city, plus it is only one block away from the Strasbourg-Saint Denis metro staion. The room was small but had an en suite bath. The size of the room I think is standard for Paris, unless you are willing to spend significantly more Euros. The room was clean an included a fridge. The staff held my luggage since I arrived early, and helped me make reservations since I do not speak French. All in all I would recommend it for a short term stay for a solo traveler or couple. They also have larger rooms for families and group travel.
