“Good value, but...”

Nice room, almost just right temp (Dec stay). If your rate doesn't include breakfast (petite dejuner), it's a little price vs going to a cafe. We bought it once and it was tasty (but 12 euro a piece - ouch). Lot's of tasty thai/vietnamese/chinese places in the neighborhood. We'll probably stay closer to the city center next time, but this was a nice-non touristy way to experience a bit of Paris. Definitely get a 3 or 5 day metro pass (depending on your stay)

“Best Western Bercy Rive Gauche - satisfactory - I would go back there again”

The staff are welcoming and pleasant. The hotel does have a restaurant for a continental breakfast and that is optional. I liked that idea that you have the choice to buy into this provision or not. As I needed to acquire 2 rooms to accomodate my family of 5. I was pleased that the rooms were located next to each other, but I do not know whether this is aways possible. The hotel was very accommodating. The only down side to the hotel, is that it would have been nice to have hot drinks in the evening. It would have been nice to have tea bags, coffee and a kettle in the room. This hotel is not located too near the centre of Paris (3 zone) but you do have good transport links. All within walking distance and my children enjoyed the adventure of travel. There are load of restaurants and for my 2 youngest, Mc Donalds. There is a local supermarket were I would purchase drinks and stuff for our travels, and I also invested in a pair of trainer. If you are planning to stay for a couple of day, I would recommend ivesting in a travel visa - which is the aquivalent to the UK travel card.

“If you just need a place to sleep.”

Comparing this to a US hotel, the beds are not as comfortable and the rooms are very compact. The staff was very friendly, but they kept charging us different prices for a bottle of soda we got on several occasions. The rooms were very clean, though.

“Décevant”

La moquette de la chambre était très souillée, et la literie était de propreté douteuse,les a abat-jour des lampes étaient défectueuses. Par contre la salle de bain était adéquate et très propre.
