“Love this hotel - will stay here each time in Paris”

We love this hotel. We have stayed here many times. We like the location with an easy walk to St Germain, easy access to Metro (across the street), but not noisy and full of tourists. Lots of stores around the area if you like that sort of thing. Hotel is very friendly and they speak English. Rooms have been renovated in last few years; they are small, but comfortable. The bathroom now has a jacuzzi tub, which surprised me (could be useful after all that walking in Paris). Breakfast is good and very fresh. If you take Eurostar, the Metro is a directly line from Gare du Nord or about 14 Euros by Taxi.

“Clean and convenient place to stay”

Located directly across from the metro in the very busy Montparnasse neighborhood with abundant shopping all around. Hotel is clean, reception service helpful and bilingual. Elevator is a plus. Enjoyed full continental breakfast and newspaper each morning in the lounge.

“Hotel Aramis Saint Germain”

Staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful, a pleasure to interact with. The Hotel was right by the Saint Placide metro, and surrounded by cafes and shopping. Located almost directly between St Germain des Pres and Montparnasse, probably a 10 minute walk in either direction.. Room was small, probably typical by European standards, but well-appointed and clean, with a very nice bathroom.

“Charming in every way”

We loved this place. The rooms are tiny, but very romantic if you can move the end tables around and open the huge windows to the street below. Noisy if open, but once you close them and have the air on, it is so quiet you can't hear a siren. The bathroom has a huge tub and shower and lots of counter space, hair drier ( a must for me!) and natural light! The breakfast was amazing and the place is charning. We will definitely go there again. BTW, the bistro across the street has the best deals on morning baguette and great coffee! All the locals. Right near the Metro and a cool neighborhood.

“Great Location - Good Staff - Clean Hotel - Room was a little on the Small Side”

Great Location - Good Staff - Clean Hotel - Room was a little on the Small Side. You can walk across the road to the Rennes Metro stop whcih is great, there are some really great restaurants in the area - try La Coupole.

“First Time Visit to Paris”

The hotel rooms are small but we expected that. There was noise from the street, but we expected that too, but kept the window closed and it was fine, bright and airy. Ask for a room overlooking the street, as we had one that overlooked the fire escape and it was dark. The hotel is close to the Metro and the hottest tip I can give anyone is to take the time to understand the how the Metro works, it's not that hard unless, like us you get lost. The staff at the hotel were very helpful except for one, a young lady who was extremely short on politeness and manners. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we would go back.

“Nice hotel in the 6th Arondissement”

I spent three nights in the Hotel Aramis this July and it was great. The room air conditioning was great, the shower was hot and had good pressure, the desk staff knowlegable, and the location was fantastic. It's right on top of the St. Placide Metro station (on the #4 line). It's also a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel tower, a ten minute walk to the Seine and Notre Dame, and five to seven minutes to the St. Germain district. It's very close to the Montparnasse train station (which is excellent if you're coming or going to southern France), and a reasonable cab ride from Gare du Nord (if you're taking the Eurostar to London). Keeping in mind what you'll find for Paris hotels, this is a solid 3 star hotel that's well worth staying at. There weren't any real drawbacks beyond the standard complaints about every hotel room in Paris. If you've never stayed in Paris before, you might be shocked at the room being slightly larger than the bed. For the money, this was a great hotel for my weekend trip to Paris and I would stay there again without a doubt. Highly recommended.

“Friendly, Courteous and Efficient Hotel Staff”

We were quite please with this hotel. We were there for five nights and found the hotel to be clean and well maintained. Small room but that is expected. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. All front desk people spoke English which was definitely to our advantage since my husband and I do not speak the language at all. At times, the staff went out of their way to help and answer questions.
