“Love at First Sight”
Location was great b/c of the convenience, we walked most of our way around Paris. However, not to keen on the cafes and restaurants around there. Great walk to Moulin Rouge, Montmarte, Opera and even Champs Elysees if you're willing to walk. The Hotel was clean, and had a feel of old Paris to it which is great for tourists, especially first timers. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but did the job... great heat in the hotel!
“More than expected”
The hotel staff are EXTREMELY nice and helpful, and they are approachable for any requests you might have. I was quite impressed with the service. Conditions of the room were above average and very clean. Just that the elevators were a little bit cramped. We had a stroller for our baby and that made it inconvenient to go up and down. Everything else was a charm.
“Good value for the money”
The Hotel is conveniently placed, within 2 minutes walk from the subway station and 5 minutes walk from the Saint-Lazare Railway Station Very friendly service The only downside was the elevator, which was out of the service for 2 months
“hôtel abordable, calme et propre”
hôtel abordable en terme de prix, calme, et bon accueil. Chambre un peu "vieillotte" (affaire de goût) mais pour quelques nuits cela ne pose aucun problème.
“Good stay”
The staff was very nice and helpful. They served a good breakfast. The only thing is that the next day after we checked in there was NO hot water in the morning, that was only for that first day . The other good thing is that the metro station is right next to the hotel.
“good 3 star”
The Berne Opera was a very good 3 star option . The room was a good size and was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but a bit shabby. The hotel was close to the metro station and the staff were very friendly and well informed. I would certainly go back to this hotel
“Good enough to sleep and shower!”
We read reviews of this hotel before we booked it and I would agree with past stayers... it was good enough for a sleep and a shower. We stayed there for over a week. The condition of the hotel was par for what we expected. I liked the proximity in the city where the hotel was - walking distance to many things. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly, helpful. They spoke enough English and were always courteous. My only complaint is that the walls were extremely thin. Part of the week it was very quiet, but towards the end of our stay we had neighbors and we could hear their every move. When they were showering, arguing and etc, I felt like I was in the room with them. I would recommend this hotel if you are more interested in seeing the sights of Paris and spending your money in other places besides the bed. It was good enough, we didn't spend a lot of time in our hotel room.
“excellent staff”
the hotel was under renovation. but the staff apologised for it and gave us complimentary breakfast. Metro station was only one block away
“Nicely located”
Our stay was very pleasant. The staff is friendly and speak english. It was situated perfectly within walking distance of the metro and nice restaurants. We would stay here again.
