“Great location for Velib's fans”
Just in front of a Velib' station, this simple hotel has everything we believe you might need for travel vacations in Paris. Price was fair. Very small elevator and simple continental breakfast. Thin walls on the rooms. Strongly reccomend this hotel.
“nice hotel”
a lot of restaurants nearby, walking distance to both Gare du Nord and St. Lazare, close to Opera, lots of good restaurants nearby
“Good hotel but some things to work on”
Hotel has a convenient location and service is acceptable, but I still feel that nowadays the service cannot be just "acceptable". When I arrive and kindly request an early check-in if thre is a room available (noon instead of 2pm), then I'm not looking for attitude from the front desk complaining that it's 2pm and the hotel is full. All I need is a yes or a no to my question. I did eventually get the room, so why all this bad energy. In addition, for the entire stay of 3 nights I had my "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on the door as I prefer no one to enter my room on such short stays. For three consecutive days, the housekeeping came into my room and made my room (even though the sign was there) and on my last day of stay, two engineering people actually WALKED INTO MY ROOM while I was in there without knocking and with the DO NOT DISTURB sign on...unacceptable. Apart from that, the hotel is really a convenient place to stay in the city, very close to the subway and walking distance to the city centre.
“walked everywhere i could”
one attendant was not a gentlemen but did not permit his arrogance ruin my stay. a female attendant by the name of Jolle was a spectacular employee. very polite and well informed. she went beyond the call of duty.. someone give her a raise !!
“nice, clean hotel”
tipically small european, but nice. Is -in- Paris, close to the subway, not the best area of Paris, but not bad
