“Excellent Moderately-Priced Hotel in lively, central Area”
We had a smallish but comfortable, stylish room, with many thoughtful touches. The shower setup was the best one we've encountered in a 3-star hotel in France - overhead rain shower head, plus handheld sprayer, with a spacious glass enclosure. The air conditioning was quiet and effective. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though we spoke limited French. The location is in busy Rue Buci, just off Blvd St Germain. There are many cafes and shops nearby and 2 metro lines have stops within a several hundred meters. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre. All told, hard to find any drawbacks.
“Great Location”
Perfect location for gettng around on the metro. You can walk to loads of sights too eg Notre Dame, Louvre, Cluny, Musee D'Orsay. Lots of places to eat and shop on your doorstep.
“Very impressive hotel and location”
Absolutely great location for all the attractions and especially for dining in the evening. Lots going on. The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were very very helpful with everything including directions and recommensations. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again without question

“Artus hotel”
Nice hotel, great location, I recommend it.
“Will definitely stay here again”
The service was excellent. Location fabulous. I ended up in a handicapped room but it was likely a bigger space than normal so I didn't mind. Only downside is that it was a street level so not a lot of privacy. Everything was clean and well-designed. I travel a lot for biz - this rom had a nice-size desk and wireless so all good there. Given location, would also be good hotel for pleasure.
“Paris: Thanksgiving 2009”
We researched hundreds of hotels and decided to try to Artus. We hoped the location would be central and many reviews very positively commented on the quality of the concierge staff, particularly Sanjay. The hotel is in an excellent location. You can indeed walk to many sites; there are two metro stops within a block; and the neighborhood is bustling with activity. Sanjay is indeed one of the best concierge we have ever encountered. Super helpful. He even called us on his day off to ensure a service we had requested was indeed provided. Our room (#161, top floor, court-yard side with a slight view of the Eiffel Tower) was small but clean and maintained. We did not go to Paris though to sit in a hotel room, so the size was not an issue. When we return to Paris, we will stay at the Artus again. If you are looking for a small hotel with outstanding service, you should consider staying there too.
“Artus the Gem”
Artus Hotel is an awsome place to stay in Paris. Great central location. Restorants, cafes, and grocery store are nearby. Hotel is very clean. Our room was small but cosy and comfortable. Staff is wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. My daughter and I arrived in Paris very early in the morning. Although the check-in time 3pm, our room was ready, when we arrived at the hotel at 9:30am. I don't want to be unfair to other staff members but Sanjay is a host at heart. He has all the information a guest might need about any aspect of the visit. We truly felt at home. I would recomend this hotel to anybody, anytime. I miss Paris terribly.
“Great boutique hotel in a perfect St Germain location”
A great simple (and tiny) boutique hotel right on the coolest street in St Germaine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice - good size, nice bathroom and nice bed. The only complaint is the heavy perfume that is sprayed after the rooms are made up - I would request them not to do that (sorry if that's a French custom!).
“Great small hotel in the Latin Quarter”
Very friendly service, cute small cosy rooms, in the middle of the Latin quarter with lively Rue de Buci outside and the Boulevard St Germain 2o yards away. All Paris attractions easily walkable. A great base.
