“Appartements Premium Montmartre: Parfait pour un court séjour à Paris”
Bien situé avec accès facile au métro, environs agréables. Petit appartement très cosy avec un excellent rapport qualité / prix. Bémols: peu d'eau chaude, pas d'ascenseur, pas de service de chambre ( serviettes ne sont pas changées).
“Fulfilled expectations”
Didn't stay in the hotel as such (where the main reception is) but in a studio rented out by APM. APM's address (rue Aristide Bruant) is not to be found on every map; if you don't watch it, people will direct you to a rue A. Briand- thinking that there is a spelling mistake in your directions by APM. Closest metro station to APM is 'Blanche' or 'Abysses'. Staff at the reception (where you get the key&directions to your appart/studio) are very friendly and speak English very well. If you bring a lap-top, do ask them immediately for your studio's WiFi code because it doesn't feature in your papers. Our studio was in a very quiet street leading up to the Sacre Coeur- just above the streets with restaurants/traiteurs/shops/delicious food-stalls during the day and- just below the touristy area around the Sacre Coeur. Perfect location!! Studio was as I expected it to be: minimal in terms of equipment. But hey, you can't expect anything more cause who ever the landlord is must also have had some bad experiences with tourists. Important was that it had just been decorated, giving it a fresh air and everything worked. There were kitchen and bathroom towels. Mind, it's not a hotel: no daily changing of towels/bedlinnen. If you want to watch tv or eat in your studio (2 rings; no micro-wave) after entire day out then it is perfect for you. If you want to be out for longer and have a good night sleep then it's even better. Book a studio in Rue des 3 freres with APM.
“Disappointing”
The apartment matched the photo BUT the ground floor apartment we had, had strong constant smell of mold and damp. The bathroom wall paint was peeling off due to damp. The room is very dark, like being in a basement and needed the room lights on at all times. The room window looked out onto a small gap between the buildings and the multiple waste bins and people from the other apartments used the bins frequently. It was usually noisy until about 01:00. There were some good points, the wireless internet was good and there was constant hot water and the location was good. Not a fault of the apartment, but trying to find parking anywhere in the area was a nightmare.
